Great staff nice hotel but could be improvedPosted Feb 24, 2014
Pros: Very helpful and friendly staff throughout the hotel. Food good quality
Cons: Spa should only be available to residents. Indoor pool should be free of charge.
Location: Lovely views from hotel across sea. Lack of restaurants closeby so you are restricted to eating in hotel.
The standard of accomodation and staff was very good. Food good quality but meal times were rather manic with lots of children. Room was quite noisy from neighbours in the second half of week as walls weren't very thick. We paid for Wifi in our room but reception was very poor which we complained about a few times. Hotel is good for families with small children but not ideal for couples or families with teenagers. Spa was open to non residence and as weather was poor it was extremely busy and the queue of people trying to get in put us off! Didn't realise that to use the indoor pool you had to pay which was disappointing.

Good Holiday HotelPosted Feb 15, 2014
Pros: Its position (though close to the Airport) and all its facilities except as mentioned above.
Cons: See above. The Dining Room needs substantial improvement.
Poor layout and furnishing to the Dining Room and the buffet food was moderate. If taken outside, Breakfast was a better experience. Food and service in the A La Carte restaurants was much better but variable. Bedroom floor needed thorough clean; bedroom tea, coffee, milk etc. should be checked and topped-up daily; and TV clock needs to be altered to GMT until Summer Time returns.

Well located hotel right by beach.Posted Feb 9, 2014
Pros: Close to beach and can walk to local shops and nearby centre of Caleta de Fuste.
Cons: Better UK TV selection. Lower charge for Spa use
Location: We hired a car and the roads are very good and easy to get around to see the Island
This is a recently built Sheraton and the rooms are spacious. modern and kept clean to a high standard by the staff. The weather during our stay was very windy and we would have liked to use the Spa more often. but there is a charge of 15 euros per person each per day for entry and although it is described as having an indoor pool it isn't really big enough to swim in, a point confirmed by the Spa manager on our visit. The hotel has friendly staff and a good plus is the free entertainment in the evenings in the lobby bar whiich we really enjoyed In the rooms the flat sceen large TV would be better if there was access to some British programmes apart from BBC world news this was lacking, although quite a number of the guests were from the UK, A great plus was the Hotel's position close to the beach and that you can walk to local shops and the nearby centre of Caleta de Fuste We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel and hope one day to visit again.

Excellent HotelPosted Jan 24, 2014
Pros: Accommodation, pool area, food and friendliness and helpfulness of the staff
Cons: The TV offering (very poor at the moment for a 5 star hotel)
Location: Nice beach with bars and a supermarket close by within a 5 minute walk.
Wonderful hotel food, service and staff were all excellent. We booked half board and I can truly say that we looked forward to breakfast and dinner each day particularly as the weather was poor (rainy, cloudy and cold). Staff were very pleasant and smiley and nothing was too much trouble for them. We asked for a kettle for our room instead of the coffee maker provided and it was delivered very quickly. Only negative I would give it is the TV offering which is poor I think for a 5 star hotel just BBC world news/CNN for British visitors especially as Sky channels are available in nearby bars so they must be available on the island. Apart from that I would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Second visit.Posted Nov 24, 2013
Pros: location close to the airport.
just returned from a six night stay at the hotel, which was our second visit this year. we were given a free spa day pass as returning guests, which was a lovely touch. Staff are fantastic and very helpful, room is spotless and the food is lovely. will def be returning again.

Absolutely not a 5 star hotel!Posted Nov 1, 2013
Pros: The rooms were good.
Cons: Nearly everything - see comments in experience above.
Location: Walk along the beach past a construction site to nearest small town which has general restaurant typical of a spanish tourist resort.
We were exceedingly disappointed with our experience. We wanted a relaxing 5 star break and apart from the rooms being acceptable and the sports guy being great, the rest wasn't by any means 5 star! A letter of complaint to the Manager got no response - indicative of their service! Problems include, but not limited to: chinese restaurant open weekends only; lack of service around the pool; lack of cocktail availability due to supplies; quality of food; limited menu options; unable to provide rooms next to each other, say should have paid extra in advance for this; contents of mini bar being water, coke, orange and can of beer only; low quality uncomfortable pool beds; card system for one towel at pool only; no pool steward; no welcome drink; no wine tasting invitation; tv system english news only, no film options; no concierge service; totally understaffed. 5 star it absolutely was not. Starwoods should remove its rating from their website along with a manager who does not respond! Never did we feel as though we had one decent meal.

Recommended only for somePosted Oct 20, 2013
Pros: Room size, staff, comfort
Cons: Food, pools
Location: The nearest developed village is good 10 minutes walk away and it's not the best spot either. English and Irish pubs and bars.. Get a car and explore!
We've had a little trouble deciding whether we've loved our stay or not. A lot of details suggest Sheraton Fuerteventura is a top end resort, there are some flaws though. Hotel's staff are absolutely fabulous - they will walk an extra mile for you, very helpful, professional and they always seem to smile! Our standard room was enormous, overlooking the bay. It was kept clean and tidy, and the cleaner was as nice as the rest of the staff. The only complaints are around the pool and the buffet food. The sunbeds were dated and quite annoying. The bathrooms used by the pool revelers where in quite poor condition at times (smelly, missing soap and napkins). The buffet, however very diverse, was a bit disappointing too. We've seen a lot of food being wasted, as nobody would even touch certain things. Seems like they could concentrate on preparing less, but better quality dishes. Overall we had a very good time!

Great Hotel for a great VacationPosted Aug 18, 2013
the hotel gives all you need to have a relaxing and comfortable vacation. We've particularly appreciated the breakfast reserved adult zone. It is best for family, but I think that it is also fine for couple, as we are, because there is so many space that you can find your place to relax. The island is beautiful that we advice to rent a car, use this wonderful hotel as a base and travel around to discover the fantastic beaches and villages.
