We were a large party of 13 who came in from the US and Canada for a wedding. 2 of us were Hilton Honors members but not given the perks until last day. Our room was wrong and we had to change and were then put on the smoking floor. The only place we could gather was at the bar/ restaurants which closed too early at night. We were asked to leave several times. We noticed at other tables the wine poured in their glasses was twice as much. We did not feel welcome. There were numerous other issues. The wedding however ,was beautiful.

Comfort for vacation
Well, I do not recommend this hotel. Property is dirty. We had room service and sushi dinner at Christmas day. We had to remove room service table by ourselves. That table was still n the hallway until we checked out. Bathroom is out of dates. Sushi restraint in hotel recycles chop sticks. We R in grand Hyatt now. Much better place. It is almost the same cost but more convenient to access city. Hyatt is much more comfortable place.

Worth the amount you pay to stay there. Our room on the 31st floor was spacious with 4 beds in 2 bedrooms. There were tvs in each room. The bathroom had both a shower and a bathtub. Mall next door in walking distance. Lots of choices to eat there. Staff are beyond courteous and the morning buffet for breakfast is wonderful. Stayed 4 nites.

I like the size of the Western Japanese Suite I stayed in. The suite was clean. Staffs were very accommodating. Didn't like the partially cloaked in the main tub room. BUT I would definitely stay again

Property was breathtaking and had everything included in the hotel. The only problem was that, in a $500 a night room, everything cost additional money. The wifi. The parking. The pool. A damn Diet Coke was 8.50 and not included in the $50 per person buffet. That pool charge? Doesn’t include mandatory towel and swim cap rental. Like what? I have never, ever been nickel and dimed this badly in my life.

This Hilton property is sadly mediocre. The lobby, shopping gallery and restaurants are all fantastic. The room left much to be desired. The bed was uncomfortable. Our “sea view”, despite being on the 11th floor, was obstructed by a massive glass dome. House keeping didn’t show up the first day of our stay. But the other staff was kind and helpful, inasmuch as they could be... we don’t advise booking a room through a third party, such as hotels.com, because Hilton will treat you like second class citizens. Use instead your Hilton Honors account to make your reservation, you will receive much better treatment. Or better yet, find a different hotel in Fukuoka.

The staff is helpful especially Ms Sun Hayoon, she able to help to add additional bed for us without charged as we booked thru Expedia, the child age range 1-16 but my daughter aged 15 need a separate bed. Please be careful especially when booking thru Expedia. There are great view from the room. Disappointing as indoor pool is chargeable.

Nice big hotel with nice surrounding
Hotel is not bad as it is quite self contained with nice surrounding..but the subway is 20mins away if by walking. It costs around 800yen to take a taxi to hotel from the nearest subway. If you are going to Tenjin, take bus no. W at the bus stop outside the hotel, the journey takes around 20mins. I took taxi to Hakata the first night and it costs about 4000 yen.

Dissappointing
I was so disappointed in the service and room that I got. The room is nothing like the pictures and description on the booking site. When I got to my room it asked me to pay for internet, even though I'm a Hilton Honors member, when the booking shows free internet. I went down to the lobby again and was told I could not use HH because I did not book through Hilton.com. I showed them my confirmation and they took a picture of it and finally gave me a code to get internet. The room was small, even by Japan standards. The only part that matched the description was there was a double bed. I asked for a different room because it was not as advertised but was told that is the room I booked. The food at the Seala restaurant is OK, but the service is horrible. I had 1 hour from check out to my bus to the airport. I waited over 15 minutes after being seated and no one came to take my order. I had to leave without eating because I would have run out of time. The site says there is airport transportation, but it didn't say it cost $10 each way. I was working at the airport during my stay, so ended up walking 15 minutes each way to the train station to get an affordable way to the airport. All in all, this is not what was advertised when I booked my trip. Big mistake. The hotel itself is amazing and in a nice quiet area, but not worth all of the rest of the issued I had.

Underwhelming experience
Very overpriced for a standard Hilton hotel. Rooms need a refurbish, Furniture a bit weather beaten, Took us 45 mins to check in for no apparent reason, wasn't particularly busy. There was a Manager looking over the receptionist shoulder but making no attempt to help out, bit of an attitude about him. The Japanese staff were friendly and accommodating though, the manager was not Japanese. We spent 3 amazing weeks travelling all over Japan for the rugby World Cup staying in everything from 5 star to hostels and this was by far the most underwhelming of the places considering what they were charging. Would not stay here again. (ps they wanted to charge me for internet in my room unless I signed up for the 'upgrade" to Hilton rewards, very cheeky in this day and age)
