Hotel was close enough to public transport. It would be nice to get some coffee and some English tea in the room. Overall I like this nice and cosy place.

OK for price and location
Good location, very near train station exit. Staff were friendly and prompt. Room and bed were small but clean. Bathroom had a drainage smell and shower was fluctuating between cold and hot so it was difficult to keep it at a comfortable temperature for a bath.

There is a free massage chair next to the front desk. That was my favorite hotel part ever! Eventhough they said is non-smoking room, it's still smell the cigarette inside the room. I think it was hard to find hotel with mid range budget with non-smoking room in Japan.

Nice hotel in a quiet neighborhood close to Ohuri park and subway station. Not too far from downtown area. Also the beach is in walking distance

Comfortable Hotel handy for the Airport & Tube
As you would expect in japan the rooms were small but clean and comfortable. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is close to the Tube and easy to reach from the Airport being on the same line and you don't have to change. I've stayed here twice and would happily go back. One note of caution there are two Sunline Hotels in Fukuoka, we went to the wrong one the first time!!

Okay hotel at reasonable price
It said it has a parking lot but there were restrictions and my minivan couldn't park there. We were guided to a coin-parking outside but it costed a lot more. Room was fine but it was dusty underneath beds. Breakfast was great. Safe neighborhood, convenience stores in walking distance, it was good overall.

The hotel looks a bit old but good location, calm and comfortable. Also Staff was great. My room was beside an elevator and sometimes noisy probably due to a boiler.

Great value hotel
Great hotel close to Fukuoka Castle and Ohori Station and lake. Also I have family nearby. Would be good if there were more European options for breakfast but it is certainly a Japanese experience

Convenient for a stay in city
The hotel price is low for a small room with twin bed in Fukuoka. Location is fine which is besides the famous park and within 5 minutes walk from the nearby JR station. Service is good and room is clean. However the ventilation of the room is not that good and no air conditioner in winter.

Highly recommend on a budget
Close to mass transit and has all the things you need while on vacation at no extra cost. We did not get the breakfast offered as we had early morning plans. Not far from the sumo wrestling convention center. Had plenty of time to visit Nagasaki museum in less than a day. I would stay here again without a doubt!

The location of the hotel is just a minute work from the Ohori Koen station. The price is reasonable and staff is extremely helpful.

Room size smaller than all other hotels we booked
This hotel room is smaller than all other hotels we booked, specially the bathroom. Hotel facilities are kind old, bathroom locked from outside, you can get in again if you don't know the trick. There some big boxed placed next to our room for 2 days, no one is clean them out, staff told us those are belong to the one live in the next room, kind of strange. The location is good, there is a good food mart for locals very close by.

I spent one night here. Staff were friendly and all seemed to have functional english. Ohori park is right across the road, and it's only a two minute walk from Ohori-koen subway station (two stops from Tenjin). The area is very quiet at night, but there are 24hr convenience stores and vending machines a-plenty, and I was still able to find a selection of restaurants open nearby at 2am. All in all a pleasant stay. Would book again.

Location was nice, next to the Ohori Park. The hotel sent all their bikes into maintenance so it made for a hassle to find bikes around the neighborhood. Overall would recommend.

Spent a night here before catching my flight back to KL. I was lucky to have my room upgraded to a double room. Moreover, i could check-in earlier although the check-in time was 3pm.

Perfect hotel
Great hotel perfectly positioned for my visit to Fukuoka. Is right near the airport rail line. Opposite Ohori Park and not far from the ancient Fukuoka Castle. Hotel has free bicycles available which is an excellent way to get around this very flat and beautiful beach-side city. This hotel is great value for money, although as a Westerner I did not eat there as the food was not my style at all.

Typical old and quite run down business hotel which is simply overpriced for what you get. Next time, I will find another hotel for sure. Location is also average at most & htat is being optimistic.

The hotel is very near to Ohorikoen train station (airport line) so it's very convenient. It took about 15 to 20 minutes to get there from airport by train. Not in the busy part of city so it's very quiet. You could get a good night rest after all the sight seeing and shopping.

Pleasant hotel in Fukuoka
I found the room to be both clean and comfortable for one person.It was larger than I expected. The price was affordable compared to my previous visit to Japan 10 years ago.Across the street there is a large park where you can relax.I had a very enjoyable stay in Fukuoka as a result.

Great location, superb price!
Located just couple of minutes from Ohorikoen Station, this hotel is perfectly situated 2 stops away from Tenpin City and other great attractions. The famous Ohori Park is just opposite, a great start to the day by having breakfast by the lake and enjoy the tranquility. We booked a Twin room and its huge comparing to a Japan standard. Rooms are clean and cosy while the beds are so comfortable. Staffs are friendly and helpful with several questions we had and speak good English. We had no problems whatsoever and we recommend anyone this hotel if they are ever in Fukuoka!

Uber Affordable. No-frills kinda place.
The Pluses - Perhaps the best you can get in Fukuoka in this price range. Service staff speaks some English which is a plus. Located just around the corner from the Ohorikoen station. Ohorikoen, great place to be for Cherry Blossoms and the annual Ohori Fireworks Festival. Decently sized rooms for the price, just very slightly bigger than the average hotel room you would expect in Japan. I have some room to maneuvre even with a fairly large luggage. The hotel has bicycles you may rent for free should you rise early enough to get one - an excellent way to explore Fukuoka City and the park with. The Minuses - The room has only one pillow with is rather soft. Managed to obtain another on the second night of rest. I was staying in the room alone so I opted for a "semi-double room", comes with a super single bed. The room and the hotel itself is nothing very memorable. Very basic amenities, but I would say it is definitely value for money. The neighbourhood is very quiet come nightfall and you do not have very much of an option if you need a late night snack. Should you be looking to get some shopping done, choose something nearer to Tenjin / Daimyo.
