“not a 4 star hotel”

Hotel was mediocre at best, certainly not a 4 star. Our room was very small, we got towels for one person, not two, on both days we were there. A lot of traffic noise all night because hotel is on a major road.

“Musty-fusty”

It's not a 4 star hotel: 1. No bathtube. 2. Water from the shower goes straight on the floor of the bathroom!!! and the drainage is right under the sink - once washed you have to wipe the whole floor or get . 3. Very cold bathroom. 4. No air conditioning. 5. Old doors with holes. 6. Old noisy elevators. 7. Some rooms are not accessible by lift (but we could choose though.) 8. No safe in the room. 9. Staff kept going out to the yard to smoke. 10. One window could not get closed (broken frame). 11. Some tables in the morning were allegedly reserved to keep them clean but the other were ocupied or full of dirty dishes with no staff around to clean. 12. Pay-TV did not work. Pluses: 1. Free wi-fi. 2. Free parking. 3. Pay-TV accidently shows free movies.

“Needs maintenance and cleaning”

On the good side: it has a great location, free internet and free parking. Now all the rest: Hotel is in desperate need of maintenance and renewal. I understand they want to keep an antique look, but instead of looking antique it looks old and rundown. Cleanliness is really bad, the bathroom was very dirty, the toilet even had stains of not being cleaned properly. The bed was uncomfortable. The rug smelled. I think what made it worse was that we got a 1.5 star hotel disguised as a 4 star with a 4 star price. Perhaps if they would've charged like a 1.5 star hotel, It would've been ok.
