“Guntersville Relaxing”

Nice room! We had lake front and loved loved it!!! GREAT view. Short walk to fish. Had our own outdoor table/chairs. Nice pool. Resturant on site.Other resturants close by. Boat ramp next door plus boat docks. Close to Huntsville and Chattanooga for day trips. Will stay there again AND recommend to friends and family!!!

Great location. Very clean room. Restaurant had great menu and food was good. Staff was very nice. Only negative was parking. Weekend crowded with locals. However, security was very helpful in finding place to park. Would return.

“First time visitor”

This is a good place to stay in Guntersville. It is conveniently located and easy to find. The staff is made of of extremely friendly and helpful people and they helped to make the stay pleasant. Considering all you get, it's a very good lodging deal. The only negative is that if your room is on the highway side of the facility the road noise is a bit bothersome.

“not worth the travel unless you are sure you have a lakeside room”

Weekends the hotel focuses on the bar and lounge. Parking is difficult. The hotel is on a major road and the rooms near that road have traffic noise late into the night. However, the staff members are polite and helpful. They make up for a lot of the other inconveniences.

“Too much traffic noise, not enough parking”

We apparently chose to stay when there was a sports event in town (by appearance) and combined with the lounge attached to the motel, there was almost never any parking to be had. Several times I had to park a long ways away and even saw others parking at adjacent businesses. I was a bit worried as I wasn't sure where I could park and not get towed- cars were everywhere, even on the grass. Also, a traffic light is right at the entrance and the highway runs parallel with the motel. Since I had a room about 4 doors down from the highway, there was constant noise it seemed all night long. I woke up several times each night from the traffic (squealing tires and sirens) and didn't sleep well. Although the motel was clean and maintained, it is not new by any means and although it has some updates, it could withstand more. Unfortunately, the internet did not work either but since I carry an aircard I was still able to access the internet. The staff was nice and the accomodations were ok but for a few more bucks (10-20), there's a Hampton down the street which is where I'll stay if I visit again.

“Watch the front”

If you're going to stay here make sure you are booked on the lake (back) side, we were in a room on the front and honestly it was probally 10-15 ft from the highway and it's a BUSY intersection---very loud!
