I will say I was pleasantly surprised when we checked in. We just needed a place to crash for one night, arriving late, leaving early, and this motel met my very limited needs. This is an old building in a small town off the Interstate, small, no frills, and inexpensive so I was prepared for much worse. Check-in was easy and the attendant was very polite. The room had been redecorated, was spacious, and had a large TV and nice surface space for landing luggage and emptying pockets for the night. There we signs of wear especially in the bathroom, where paint was peeling and there was a big shoeprint on the bathroom door which was odd. Bathroom counterspace was also larger than I expected and the little single cup coffee thing was clean, worked well for what it is. Bottom line it seems this motel is trying to do the right thing with what's probably a limited budget, it met our needs, and my favorite part was the room was very quiet. We heard the people in the room next door go into the room, but never heard any voices through the walls on either side and the motel was fully booked, so that's a benefit of it being an older building with good insulation. Oh, and the A/C worked great I'd stay there again for a night under the same circumstance of just needing a clean, comfy enough place to crash for a few hours.
