“The Best for the Least”

I needed a place to stay while moving my daughter to the University of Florida for her first semester. Since I planned to stay a total of 3 days, I needed someplace comfortable, clean, inexpensive, and close to the campus. This fit the bill on all counts. I want to specifically comment on the amazing service. Minutes after entering my room, the front desk called asking if the room was clean and to my liking. I've never had this experience at a motel before. Truthfully, I've never even had it at high quality hotels. I was happy to report that the room was indeed clean. I also soon discovered that the bed was extremely comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was incredible. During my stay, I took advantage of the room's other amenities, such as the fridge, microwave, free Wi-Fi, and cable TV with HBO. I didn't use the pool, but it was large and appeared to be sparkling clean. I saw other guests enjoying it. On the first day, I did have one small issue with the shower faucet which wasn't attached well and came off when I tried to turn it. Maintenance showed up at my room in minutes. There were no issues thereafter. Please note that this is a review for a motel and that there was nothing I could say was luxurious about the room. There were no quality linens, soaps, etc. It was simply comfortable and well-equipped, at a great price. If this is what you're looking for, you will not be disappointed.

“Already planning return trip next year . Go Gators !!”

Great price for a no frills hotel.Clean rooms with cold a/c. Friendly staff.Great location near stadium. Looking forward to returning next year !!

“Gator football game”

Very low-end hotel, but the room was clean enough for our one night there following the football game. It was only a short cab ride to University where the nightlife was. I would stay there again, especially for that price!

“Gator Game and a place to sleep...that's it!”

A bed and bathroom. Normally, we'd pass but game day's are crowded. The staff was super. Not a place to impress a date. It is old and rundown. But it was clean. The bathroom was def low end, but whatever. Fortunately, my gf can handle low-end when the situation calls for it. We were at the game till late and gone early the next morning. It's a short cab or a 20 minute walk to the stadium. I'd stay again, if I had to. Game day, prices rise $20-30 more.

“This a motel not a hotel”

This was not a hotel but a "motel". The Expedia agent who booked me told me this hotel was a three star hotel. I told him that I was interested in a "last minute deal" hotel and he led me to believe that was the case. He was nice but he misled me. The person who signed me up at the hotel front desk had a "whatever" attitude. I would not stay at that chain again if I can help it.

“Not Impressed”

Having to ask for new sheets when I arrived was disgusting: stains and mysterious hairs...enough said. Room was moldy and dirty. No thanks!!

“A dump of a motel, but convenient for football weekends”

We only booked this motel because it was close to campus and it was cheap -- we were there for a football game. In short, the place is a dump, but you can't expect more than that. The room smelled like cigarettes, the furniture was probably 30 years old, and after throwing the dirty-looking bedspread on the ground, we ended up sleeping (fully clothed) on top of bath towels we brought ourselves. We were scared to even unpack our bags. But again, it was a super cheap night in a crappy motel that was booked purely out of convenience.

“Will Not Return”

Will not be returning to this hotel and will not recommend it to others. The location as well as the room itself were not of any preference to myself or my spouse.
