Pros: They serve Royal Cup coffee which, to me, is probably the best coffee in America.
Cons: Just about everything.
Location: University of Florida.
We paid over $200 per night and were placed in a handicapped room (neither of us is handicapped). Obviously, everything is placed at a lower height because of handicapped persons in wheelchairs but was inconvenient for us. Also, the bathroom did not have a vanity area on which we could place our toiletries and the showerhead was so low that we had to stoop down and bend at the waist to rinse the shampoo out of our hair. The carpet was so dirty that my wife refused to take off her shoes in the room. The draperies did not completely cover the window which allowed light from the lighted walkway to let in so much light that we were kept awake much of the night. We knew, and had already been told, that because of graduation at the nearby university, the motel was full and so would not have been able to be placed in a different room. We felt that our experience was one that we would have expected at a $60 per night facility but certainly not at $200 per night. We won't be staying there again.

Needs workPosted Apr 27, 2014
Location: Just an overnight stop on our journey..........
Biggest problem. Mattress and boxspring circa 1972. Old wore out and DIRTY! Don't count on breakfast unless you want stale Danishes and warm brown water.

Close to UF and MallPosted Apr 7, 2014
Pros: The Staff and the Breakfast, again close enough to the college UF...The beds were comfortable...we all slept like babies..LOL...
Cons: This weekend was probably to busy for the staff....but check the rugs to see if they need any extra vacuuming and/or a quick steam clean.
Location: We all went to visit the Oaks Mall, ate, shopped and took pictures with the Alligator there. Enjoyed going into the College Town, ate dinner at one of
The room was comfortable for four adults and was close enough to University of Florida and the Main Street Town and even closer to the Oaks Mall and nearby Publix. Even though this weekend all the nearby hotels and this one was sold out...The staff was amazing and helpful dealing with so many people at one time. I definitely would stay at the Baymont Inn and Suites again.

Surprisingly very nice!Posted Apr 7, 2014
Pros: Very well run. The management of this hotel does a great job.
Cons: Even when I asked for it to be restarted, the internet signal wasn't strong on the back side of the building. I had to use my hotspot instead.
Location: Very close to Oaks Mall and only about 15 minutes from UF campus.
Most Gainesville hotels were booked for this weekend, and I was happy to find ANY hotel. And when I saw the exterior doors (I didn't know about this), I was a bit concerned because I was staying there by myself. It turns out that I had no worries at all. When I checked in, the hotel staff was very professional and efficient. This hotel is very well run; the management does a great job. My room was VERY comfortable: new tile flooring, nice linens, complimentary wireless internet, microwave and refrigerator. I had a room on the back side of the hotel, and it was very quiet. The breakfast was amazing; there were more choices than most hotels offer and everything was very fresh.

Great place to get rest after a long tripPosted Apr 1, 2014
Pros: The staff
Cons: Hot tub
Location: Plenty of places to eat, close to highway, not sure about whatever else other guests would require.
The hotel staff was incredibly friendly. My wife and I have stayed here before and are always greeted with kindness and sincerity. The "heated pool" did not feel very warm, but would suit anyone who was looking to cool down or relax. It is right off of the highway and easy to find. We are vegans and the night clerk offered us a menu to a local vegan restaurant. Overall, this hotel had the amenities we were searching for and will stay there again the next time we visit our favorite sunny locations in florida.

Clean, comfortable room for the nightPosted Mar 31, 2014
Pros: bedding clean and fresh
Location: Just stayed overnight so not sure.
We arrived very late and were able to check in easily. Staff was friendly. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Breakfast was just ok, but since we only paid $69 for the room for 4 of us, it was good enough. Great hotel for the price!

The room was clean; however very small.Posted Mar 18, 2014
Pros: The Room was clean.
Cons: I have no suggestions of how to soundproof the room from the noise from the highway.
Location: The hotel is located near the plaza's and is in an Ideal location.
My experience was at Baymont was not as I had hope; the hotel room that I was booked in was directly across from the highway. I did not rest very well.
