“Great hotel for Gainesville visits”

We stayed at the Best Western Gateway Grand for our last trip to Gainesville for a football game. The hotel is new, clean, and very nice. Especially compared to the typical Gainesville hotel.

Nice place, clean and comfortable. Was a bit farther away from UF than we wanted, but acceptable. Like most hotels, the pillows were poor. Service was friendly at all times. Large breakfast area, but food quality seemed not up to the standard of the rest of the hotel. It was booked solid for graduation weekend, and although there were people everywhere, the large lobby areas easily accomodated the guests without it feeling too crowded.

Very nice hotel. The staff was friendly. The on-site restaurant and bar was good-very good sandwiches.

“Made for an enjoyable vacation”

We were impressed with the quietness during our stay, the friendly staff, the variety of their continental breakfasts each morning that we were there. The restaurant next door was also very good. The hotel was convenient for our purposes as far as location. Check in and check out were fast and easy. Impressed with our room, bed was very comfy and when we returned to our room each evening, it was clean to our satisfaction. If we ever return to the Gaineville area, we would more than likely return to the Best Western Gateway Grand.

“Very Friendly Service”

I stayed at the Best Western during a recent trip to the area for an interview and was favorably impressed. Although the location did not end up being as convenient as I had hoped, everything else about my stay was great. Hotel staff were extremely helpful. They gave me directions, advice about traffic, and recommendations for food. They also helped me rent a car and picked me up from the airport. Continental breakfast was great, and I found the hotel to be really clean and comfortable. The pool was nice and the hotel restaurant actually had surprisingly good food. I would definitely stay in this hotel again if I am ever in Gainesville again.
