The Cabot Lodge recently went through renovations, and the rooms are beautiful. You have to love the fireplace, happy hour, and the great breakfast. Looking forward to my next stay.

If you're visiting Gainesville, this is the place to stay! The bedding was extremely comfortable. The room was nice and appeared to be recently redone. The staff were are very friendly. The complimentary breakfast was great. An excellent value and great location. We'll definitely stay here again!

“A Favorite Hideout”

I stayed at the Cabot for a basketball tournament a couple years ago. I had a sinus infection and was miserable when I checked in. The desk staff was wonderful. When I approached the happy hour, the attendant asked what would make me feel better? I replied, "A hot fire and tea with whiskey and honey." I was joking. It was cold out, and as I moved towards the fire starting in the magnificent fireplace in the middle of the room, she came to me with a cup. "I hope this makes you feel better." It sure did. My comfort was their major concern the entire stay. I have recommended that wonderful inn to many people and recently returned for another basketball tournament. As usual, it was a WONDERFUL stay as a result of the INCREDIBLE staff. The hotel is surrounded by restaurants a minute's walk away, making dining a breeze. The on-off expressway access makes getting to sports locations easy. The lounging area is more than ample. The breakfast buffet was better than most hotels are now-a-days. It is definitely in my top 5 nationwide! If I had to make a suggestion, it would be optional fridges in the room. I took a small cooler, so no big deal.

I can't say enough - whenever anyone asks where I stay when I visit my son at the University of Florida, I tell them CABOT LODGE. Awesome FREE continental breakfast (scrambled eggs, biscuits & sausage, fresh fruit, muffins, make-your-own waffles, etc), FREE Happy Hour (beer, wine, mixed drinks, soda, juice, popcorn), WARM outdoor pool/spa, FREE wi-fi, close to several restaurants & shopping. Easy on/off to I-75

“Will definitely stay there again”

I needed a place to stay while we planned and conducted the funeral for my mother and worked on clearing her estate. This hotel was close to my hometown right off the interstate and easy to find. It was comfortable and the staff was friendly. I will definitely stay there again.

“Very Good Hotel Close to UFL Campus”

Most of hotel guests (including ourselves) were the parents of the graduates. Cabot Lodge's proximity to the capus makes it very convenient. Hotel is close to I-75, but you don't hear the noise (insulated windows)and has a large pool. The rooms are large and the beds very comfortable. The place is very clean, service and staff are great (majority of them are UFL students). The breakfast is very good and coffee is tasteful (rarity in hotels). Restaurants and shopping center are across the street. We highly recommend this hotel!

WE LOVED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The fireplace was great! Free cocktals 5-7 PM! Lobby was HUGE!!!!!! Extremely comfortable! Lots of seating. Breakfast was a full breakfast! Just renovated! A plus! Best place yo stay in Gainesville FLA and the best buy!

Very impressed with the staff and overall appearance of the hotel. We had a very nice stay while taking our son to college. We will definitely be back.
