Nice, Cozy Hotel in Gainesville

Pros: The pool, hot tub, fitness center, and included hot breakfast!
Location: We didn't travel much outside of the hotel, but it is a good sized town with lots of fast food, restaurants, shopping, etc.
My family and I stayed at this hotel heading back to Chicago from Key West. It is a very cozy hotel with a very nice indoor pool, hot tub and fitness center. The staff are also very friendly. The free hot breakfast included with our stay was amazing. All you could eat breakfast buffet that had eggs, bacon, toast, muffins, juices, and everything else you could want for breakfast. The hotel has a very cozy, lodge feeling. A+++

The hotel is extremely convenient to the Interstate access, has a Cracker Barrel restaurant right next door, as well a convenience store / gas station. Everything the traveler needs, it's right there! Front desk staff was very nice, and the room was comfortable.

Great place to stay for Florida football games

Cons: We ran out of toilet paper twice and had to ask for more. Maid staff didn't leave extra for when rolls run out.
Convenient location to restaurants and shopping. Hotel staff went out of the way to help us get to the USC-FLA football game. When our shuttle broke down, staff fired up the hotel van and drove us to the game so we'd have time to take in pre-game festivities. If ever back in Gainesville I will stay here again!

Pros: Great breakfast in the AM. Friendly people. Pool and whirlpool!!
Location: Great access to the U of Florida. Also close to stores and many great places to eat!
We were able to check in a little early because our plane came in early. No problem with our check in and had great breakfasts in the AM's

Pros: Thay had a fairly good breakfast selection
Cons: They could be honest with their guests.
Location: Several restaurants close by. Didn't look for anything else. There was also a Holiday Inn Express nearby - where we should have stayed.
Should not have booked through expedia, and we never will again. Even though I requested only a non-smoking room, expedia reserved and paid for a smoking room. The hotel said it had NO other rooms available when we checked in, but while we were sitting in the lobby waiting for them to fumigate (which did not really work) our room, another party walked up to the desk and asked if they had a vacancy. They were told yes and they got a room. When i inquired about other rooms a second time, I was told that they didn't have any more rooms AT THE EXPEDIA RATE! And now they were completely booked - No more rooms of any kind. Sure would have liked to have known about that other room, even though it would have been more!
