“NIce place to spend the night.”
Very relaxing, convieniently located next to I-75. Adequate food nearby, as well as convienience stores.
“our stay was great”
the hotel is clean and the staff was friendly
“Clean enuf, good breakfast”
Had trouble with internet access
“A nice place at a good price.”
It's not the Waldorf, but then we are not Waldorf people. My Dad wad getting a pacemaker put in. The wake up call was on time and the Breakfast was filling & good. They even let us keep the room until 4pm so that Dad could rest a little longer from his out patient proceedure. We appreciated the extra effort.
“overall pleasing”
I had a pleasant stay..the staff where helpfull and polite..the room was clean and well stocked..the actual premises where run down but it is only budget accomadation...overall a pleasant place to stay
“Convient and comfortable”
Just needed a place to sleep and bathe. This place fits the bill.Hotel looks dated and they could pick up trash around the place but the room was quiet and comfortable.
“OK”
First room was missing a light bulb in a lamp, a desk clock, and a refrigerator. Reservation was for 3 adults but there were only 2 wash cloths and towels. Rug in from of bathroom got progressively wetter each day so on the morning after the second night of a 3-night stay, the staff was informed as we left for the day. That night our keys did not gain us access to our room. A visit to the front desk was met with the report that our rug was wet so they wanted to relocate us, which was fine with us but a note on the door or a call to our phones would have been nice. The second room had all the things the first room was missing. This motel is not new but is adequate.
“Decent No-Frills Overnighter”
The Days in Gainesville (I-75) was decent, though I'd probably try somewhere else next time I'm down there. First, it appeared as though the deadbolts on the doors were removed or disabled and only a chain lock was present for extra security. This is alarming in a place where the entrance is from the outside and - though Gainesville seems like a safe enough area - I'd rather have some extra peace of mind when I'm staying in an unfamiliar place. The carpeting in the room definitely hadn't been shampooed or cleaned in a while. There was a hornets nest being built in the corner of the window of a room two doors down from mine and at night roaches could be seen climbing the walls of the building. The room was insect free and the sheets and bathroom were clean. The cleaning service gave us fresh towels, soap, etc. The front desk reps were friendly and helpful. They let us check out late on our last day which was a big help (check out was at 11am and our flight wasn't until 4pm). It's at a good location (right off the highway, just outside town) and the staff is friendly. They offer free continental breakfast and free wireless internet. If you can get past some of the shortcomings then this is a good budget motel. If you can't, you may want to look elsewhere.
“not so good”
The breakfast was horrible with very few options. While our room was OK, the hotel was overall very dirty with butts everywhere. No early check in and no towels at the pool only made things worse. There are lots of hotels in the area, so I would choose a different option.
