“Nice!”

I stayed in the room for 3 nights and to tell you the truth I had no problems. My room was pretty darn clean, the beds were soft and no strange smell whatsoever. The shower and bathroom was well clean. I will diffidently stay again when i'm in town.

smoking room only had one ashtray and a second one would have been nice but that is a minor thing. Enjoyed the stay very much and would stay again.

The overall surrounding of the hotel didn't feel welcoming but don't judge the hotel by its cover. The rooms are clean and staff will work with you if you have any needs.

“Was very nervous about using the blind bidding feature”

I was very unsure about using the blind bidding feature and was especially disappointed when I found I had been assigned this motel. I read the negative reviews and decided that I would stop at the motel - look at the room, abandon my prepaid amount and count it as a lesson learned. When I saw the pillow sheet over the motel's signage and the sparsely populated parking lot I was sure I would not be staying. But I walked into a nicely refurbished lobby and was checked in by a friendly desk clerk who very obediently handed me the key to my room to let me check it out before I agreed to being checked. Fully expecting to march back to the desk and announce that I would not be staying there I opened the door to find a completely refurbished room with new furniture and cotton sheets on the comfortable bed complete with a variety of pillows to choose from. Very nice. The only things I could possibly complain of were minor. No wireless connection in the room, my phone in my room had a spotty connection so when I called the front desk they could not hear me, had to bypass two nonworking ice machines before I found one that worked, and my black-out shades had a bit of a gap in them which forced me to stand in the window sill and try elaborate draping and overlapping positioning to try to remove the little slit of exposure. But certainly I was very thrilled with the quality of the room for the discount rate I paid and will try this rather nerve racking booking gamble again.

The beds were very comfortable and clean. The rooms were showing some age were but were clean. It was very quiet. It was easy to check in and out. No firlls, but a good rest.

The condition of the hotel was just so-so, but the hotel service was fabulous and the location was just what we needed.
