Best option in Gainesville but needs improvement

The condition of the treatments (drapes, shower curtains, carpet, etc.) is not 4-5 star nor $$$$ worthy. I expect more from Hilton, especially at the price paid.

Perfect for campus tour

It was appropriate for visit to UF. Close to school and to restaurants. Perfect location!

Comfortable hotel close to UF and Shands Hospital.

Would recommend this hotel to a friend. Clean, comfortable and the hotel staff extremely accommodating. Disappointed there was no refrigerator in our room and no one to take up our bags upon our arrival, but otherwise a good experience.

Very good place to stay while visiting UF. We were very comfortable here and had a great breakfast in the morning.

Not worth the money

Pros: Not much-
Cons: Major over haul, need to be up graded, offer your customers what's considered normal needs and requirements
Location: GatorNationals Drag racing
The room has no refrigerator, carpets were filthy.. $3.50 for a bottle of water, no exhaust fan in the bathroom, when down stairs to restaurant, ordered dinner, then I was told they don't have all the ingredients to make it, and to pick something else, bathroom sink did not drain, I called for service to come the next day while I was gone, I got back sink still does not drain, Disgusting! for what I paid, I will never stay there again, its a very old building calling itself THE HILTON... Enjoy the money Paris.. $ 350.00 per night!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Never again!!!!!

Good hotel with excellent location but showing age

Pros: Location!
Cons: TV reception and refurb interior furniture!!
Everything OK except they are cutting corners on TV and reception is very poor on prime channels[ABC/CBS/NBC/etc.] as they are relying on over the air signal with no antenna!! Shame to see furniture dings,etc. when with very little expenditure most of the items could be refurbed.

Disappointed

I have had bad experiences with this hotel brand before. Thought I would give it one more try in a different state. The name brand is so big, but my stay was a huge disappointment. Worst money I spent on my whole vacation. I'm a blogger so I will be putting this all over sites. For Hilton to be such a large brand worse hotels ever

By far the nicest hotel near UF

Very comfortable, clean but showing some wear it is old as all the hotels in the area are but very well taken care of. There is no other hotel in the area I would even consider staying at.

Run down room.

Hotel lobby was nice but the room was a little tired looking. Think they should have queen size beds in the rooms instead of doubles. My room was not cleaned after being gone all day. Not happy coming back at 9:00 pm to a dirty room. When I called front desk they did send someone up to clean but it was not as good as if the regular cleaning crew did it. Would not stay at this hotel again.

Hilton Conference Center Excellent

Pros: Staff was extremely helpful with our necessity of finding our way around the U of Florida campus.
Location: Very convenient to the campus.
The room was classy, a little small, but everything was very nice. High quality towels, real glasses.
