Based on the other reviews I thought the hotel would be pretty dingy. But my room was clean and nice. Bed was very comfortable and pillows were the best. The only thing that could use some work is the hallways and elevator lobbies...and the gym was pathetic. But overall it was a great stay.

The Holiday Inn - University Center is the perfect place to enjoy the University of Florida and Downtown Gainesville.

Very easy check in, and spotless, comfortable room. I greatly enjoyed my stay. The hotel was also within walking distance of a lot of cute restaurants.

pleasant efficent hotel stay very friendly and accomadating shuttle from and back to airport was great we will be going back when our daughter attends college there

“Best location for University of Florida parents!”

Located on the corner of campus, this hotel is the one to pick for parents of children attending the University of Florida. No restaurant is located in the building, but plenty of food options are right outside the door. The hotel is alos clean and the room comfortable.

I have stayed at this Holiday Inn many times, but this was the best stay ever. The management and desk crew were helpful and enthusiastic and the hotel was spotless!
