“Great Week Long Stay”

I arrived around 8pm on a Sunday for a week long stay. The staff was minimal, but very pleasant the entire week. All of the appliances in the room worked properly. The carpet, bed linen, bathroom, microwave, and refrigerator were all clean. The TV had cable similar to what I use at home. I appreciated that because many hotels don't include certain channels like BET, Cartoon Network, or the Golf Channel - random I know. I didn't use the pool, but it appeared to be well maintained. The hotel was quiet and I felt more comfortable than I thought I would be considering the hotel room lead directly outside and not a hallway. I would recommend the Hotel Oaks to anyone. It's a great value and a safe place to rest while you travel.

“Price was right”

We needed a clean, reasonably priced motel for an overnight stay in Gainesville and Hotel Oaks fit the bill. Not many amenities, but we were very happy with the price and the convenient location. The property seemed to be well maintained.

“I loved the beds”

It was a very comfortable hotel, the beds were very nice, the showers were very warm, and the towels were nice and fluffy. However the telephone did not work in my room so in order to contact the service desk I had to call from my cell phone. It was a minor inconvenience. Overall it was a pleasant uneventful stay.

Gentleman at front desk was very friendly and helpful, check in was fast and painless, rooms were comfortable

“Place To Rest Your Head”

Very few amenities, wash cloths were missing, beds were comfortable, would recommend it for the "price".

Great place to stay. Nice and quiet. Loved the weather and the pool.

“A good find”

We got there at 1am and were checked in promptly and the person was very nice. The place is hard to find it is behind the Clarion through their parking lot. It is old but well maintained and clean. The staff is very nice and helpful. The pool was clean with a deep end of 8.5 ft. Coffee is available 24 hours and when not the front desk makes a fresh pot. The price is extremely fair for this hotel. A good place to sleep no frills but as I said clean and pool nice. Located near the Oaks Mall and right of 75.

“Not impressed at all”

Just under new management and the hotel is falling apart. Few if any of the amenities listed are actually in the rooms. Might improve once the overhaul is complete.

“Gator Game Day Hotel”

The room telephone was not operable and the AC unit was broken. We should have been informed at check-in. Although the room was is good condition, the bed linens could have been more presentable. The location was convenient and close to the university.
