“Will use again”
Rooms were new and smelled and looked clean. Only complaint i had was the foot traffic in rooms above late at night.
“I'd stay here again.”
We chose this motel based on reviews by other travelers using Expedia.com. So please know that it is well worth the time it takes to fill out these little questionaires. We stayed here for two nights and were very pleased with everything provided for the price we payed. It was a little challenging to find from I75 due to the fact that the intersection road sign and the actual address of the motel are marked differently (SW 13th St IS SR 441). The bed was comfortable, the room clean and neat, and the female desk clerk who greeted us was very friendly and helpful. Two things I will take exception to were that the breakfast was late in being set up, and the bare footed male clerk who answered the locked office door when I went to check out, had obviously been fast asleep at his post. I felt this to be VERY unprofessional. Still, I would recommend this palce for a short stay, and would stay here again.
“Gainesville HoJo”
The hotel was an older hotel that had undergone a facelift. It was a very attractive hotel, had everything we needed, and teh hotel staff was very accommodating. There was a simple breakfast, complimentary, adn it was in a safe neighborhood, convenient to the interstate with fast food and full service restaurants nearby. I would stay there again.
“Good Gainesville Hotel near Sands Hospital”
This was a no thrills hotel; however, the front desk was very friendly. The free breaksfast consisted of bagel, muffins, banana, oatmeal, cereal, coffee, apple and orange juice. There was not a large seating area, but the convenience and the freshness of the food was great. The rooms were adequate and the free wi-fi was great; although the clerk that checked us in forgot to tell us the logon and password. Would stay there again if I had to attend another conference at UF due to its proximity to the campus, good rate and friendly service.
“Great”
Just right
“For the price, in Gainesville, cleaner than most”
Management is friendly, courteous, and helpful. We have stayed in quite a few places in Gainesville, and most places in Gainesville are filthy. This place was better than most, and at a fair price.
“Everything we asked for and more”
We were in Gainesville for an out-patient proceedure at the VA Hospital. This hotel was perfect for our needs. They provided everything we requested at the reservation site. It was close to the hospital. There was an IHOP within walking distance of the hotel. It was a nice, clean, quiet, and uneventful stay. Just what we needed for this trip. Would absolutely stay here again when we need it.
“Will definitely stay there again. Great for the Price”
Good price, location, and visit.
“Some problems but they were resolved”
When we checked in everything was fine. As we were leaving to go to dinner our door would not lock. We contacted the management and they took care of the problem as we waited. Had we not tested the door on our way out we would have left all our luggage unsecured for anyone to get. No other problems were encountered during our stay.
“Pretty good”
Not a good hotel for the fest. Too far unless you're driving. Still it was pretty good, rooms were in good condition and the people at reception were mostly helpful. Breakfast is a DIY affair which was cool by me, be warned it stops dead on at 10am. I'd go back but not for festing.
