A Cheap place to sleep

Posted Sep 30, 2014
Pros: Staff was nice enough
Cons: Room could be MUCH cleaner, the carpet could be DRY. The air conditioning could be more obvious.
Location: We were in this hotel for a doctor's appointment and the proximity was great. The food around is mostly 24hrs which was nice.
We arrived late, after calling to inform them that we would be. The door was locked and the attendant took his time opening it for us. Mind you it was 1130pm and it was raining, we weren't wanting to wait outside. The check in process was easy and the attendant was nice enough. We then left and went across the street to eat before dropping our bags off. That was a terrible idea. When we arrived to the room the carpet was DAMP and the room felt like there had been no air circulation in days. We were too tired and it was too late to fight it, the office seems to close at 1 am. We went to adjust the stifling air to find that the thermostat didn't even turn on. After about 20 mins the air did kick on, HIGH, it got so cold that we could barely stand it. In the morning after a night of bad sleep thanks to the light outside the window and the curtains being stuck, we found the ACTUAL air conditioner was still the 'window mounted' style with it's own controls.

first impression was bad; poor breakfast, good bed. they charge $50 more bucks for the regional game.

Easy access from interstate

Posted Sep 9, 2014
Pros: Location
Cons: Needs some updates - bathrooms, etc.
Location: Large regional mall across the street with lots of dining near the hotel.
I've stayed here before and it was okay. They have since upgraded their bed linens (good). The hotel is clean but it is starting to show its age.

good for the money

Pros: Rooms are very clean, staff is friendly.
Cons: I just could not think about anything that could be improved, Is is somewhat old, but is kept in very good condition.
Location: Restaurants after 11pm are close, only McDonals and Burger King open on Newberrys.
We enjoy our stay, close to the University of Florida and 75, We will stay again. The beds are very soft!

It was in a very seedy area that was dark and overgrown. There Were people loitering in the parking lot. Overall it was a terrible hotel and I was scared to even sleep.

Get what you pay for

Posted Aug 21, 2014
Pros: Nice Pool and seemed secure
Cons: Fixtures and furnishings were well used
Location: Interstate and Shopping Center with only fast food no nice restaurant
Not a bad experience overall, Though it was a little upsetting when the first thing you notice is someone else's dirty socks under the edge of the bed. Other than that room and grounds seem well kept. This is an older facility and the age shows.

Slightly disappointed

Posted Aug 10, 2014
Pros: Easy access off the interstate
Cons: Renovate. Replace the tile in the bathrooms
You needed an upgrade to get a refrigerator but that was okay since it was only for one night. The hotel didn't give you lotion and that was a surprise. Inquired at checkout and was told this location did not provide lotion. The room upkeep could have been better.

Okay for the price

Posted Jul 23, 2014 on Hotels.com
The hotel was okay for the price and location, but the building is all outside, making it really easy for bugs to get into the room. I killed 3 flies and a spider. I payed for a microwave and fridge, didn't get either. Rooms are in need of a makeover. The only decent part was breakfast, easy for quick on the go, but don't expect much.
