Last minute purchase and glad the cost was split.

The shuttle service was worth the price of the stay.

Near UF campus

Odd smell in lobby. Rooms ok. Hallways have moldy spots. Crowded parking. Not the best of Gainesville neighborhoods.

Pros: Pool enjoyable
Quiet and comfortable stay next to the lake in Gainesville. Though not a new, hotel, in good condition, room comfortable room, and rates reasonable.

Horrible smell and very noisy

Posted Aug 11, 2014
Our 3 day stay was awful. Maintenance had to leave an air freshener for us to use in the room as it was a horrible musty smell the entire time.

Ok hotel

Posted Aug 10, 2014
I stayed here because my normal place was booked. It was ok it needs updated. Nothing special a lot of young guests. But the front desk guy did walk me back to my room when parking wasn't near my room at night.

Not a clean hotel. The floor was dirty and discusting. I would not recommend this hotel. I think it should be a 1 star hotel, not 3! The good thing is that it is close to university of florida and is easy for students. Overall, It is not worthy the money we paid for this hotel

Very relaxing

Posted Aug 7, 2014
Pros: Very quiet and relaxing
Cons: We never found where they kept the pool towels
Location: Very close to the University of Florida and Shands Hospital. We went to White City Itchetucknee Springs state park to go tubing.
Each room has a balcony. Ours looked out over the Bivens Arm Lake. The room was very quiet and sitting on the patio watching the lake was very relaxing. We will definitely stay there again when we are in Gainesville.

Stayed two nights, in town for a wedding. Very clean hotel, nice surroundings on the lake and peaceful pool. Just needs a reading lamp next to comfy chair in room. Would definetly stay again!

Nice Hotel

Posted Aug 1, 2014
Pros: Security, absolutely.
Cons: ASTHETICS, inside hallways, inside and outside building. Dreadful colors. Brighten the place up, please.
Location: Assessibility of small eating resturants near by. However, my stay is to be close by to relatives in Gainesville, and Alachua County.
Comfortable. Equipped with necessities. Quite and peaceful environment needed for complete rest. Good room service from cafe/kitchen.

What a surprise!

We needed a place during a kayaking trip in the area. What a pleasant surprise. A nice comfortable hotel with large clean rooms, and one of the most comfortable beds I have slept in. Excellent price and we will be back again.
