Very nice and clean hotel in a perfect location.

“No Continental Breakfast or Coffee”

Stayed here one night. The hotel is near some restaurants which is great if you want to eat something quickly. The room was good. Everything worked. The only thing that I noticed and did not necessarily like was that they had no continental breakfast or coffee. I don't drink coffee and sometimes do the continental breakfast but I think its important to let people that do drink coffee know that there was none in the lobby. It has a small lobby so I could understand the no breakfast, but when you see a few coffee machines with no coffee pots, that might be an issue to some.

“Close proximity to everything”

The hotel was located close to shopping areas, restaurants and highway 75. The front desk personnel were courteous and very helpful.

“Great for the price”

Convenient to university and surrounding tourist attractions. Great staff. Clean, comfortable room. Lots of places to eat/shop nearby. Very pet friendly. Dog park closeby. Parking lot was well lit at night. Would stay there again.

“wonderful, wonderful, wonderful”

This is a wonderful hotel...from the staff to the room! The hotel is very nice and all the rooms are interior corridors (very nice for a mother and daughter traveling alone). The staff is very friendly (greeted you upon coming and going), the rooms were VERY NICE! The hotel is close to I75 and off Archer road where as you know in Gainesville...everything is on Archer! Went for a swim and and will definitely be back!

“Very Comfortable Hotel”

I have stayed at the Red Roof Inn in Gainesville before so it was not a new experience for me. Rates are more than reasonable and service personnel are very helpful and polite. Room was very clean and quiet. Its location, right off Archer Road at I75, makes it the perfect location for seeing Gainesville or High Springs-known for its antique shops. There are several restaurants in the area-some fast food and some well-known chain restaurants. I always stay at the Red Roof Inn when I am in Gainesville. Go Gators!

Hotel located in a well kept area. Room was clean and quiet. Staff was professional, courteous and attentive. Easy access to highway, shopping/grocery/restaurants, as well as museums and Univ. Fl. Would stay here again if returning to area.

“Will use this hotel often”

All calls to front desk were immediately answered. Coffee was OUTSTANDING! The maker instantly provided you with mochas, lattes, hot water, etc...fresh roasted beans... A continental breakfast would have been nice but the coffe made up for it. Price was right. Many folks had their dogs, but it wasn't a problem...

“Well managed and great for the money.”

Good deal for the money. Hotel was clean, quiet and well located. The room was comfortable with no problems. I will stay in this facility again on my next visit.

“Good for us...”

Very convenient (walking distance) to many places, including Target Superstore, McDonald's, Steak 'n' Shake, Arby's, Dairy Queen, Ale House restaurant, Publix market and a full shopping center. In the shadow of I-75 but very quiet, nice outdoor pool (no shade except one umbrella table), ice machines (free) but no hair dryer (in my ground-floor room). Free coffee around the clock, in lobby. Limited cable, maybe 30 channels, but has movies for a fee.
