“Excellent stay in Northeast Atlanta area”

The service was excellent. Everything was in great condition. I was led to believe that it was just a so-so hotel. They couldn't have been more wrong. Great value for the quality and service. We had an event to attend at the Gwinnett Convention Center. It was very convenient to get there (only 15 minutes in morning traffic). I highly recommend this place, and I never take the time to fill these things out.

“Excellent hotel at the Mall of Georgia”

Very nice hotel. Clean. Friendly staff. Very nice location within walking distance to many chain restaurants like Olive Garden, On the Border, Red Lobster... Mall of Georgia is directly across the street. About a 30 minute drive down I85 to downtown atlanta.

Area recommendations

If you like to shop, this is the place for you. If you like the downtown ATL atmosphere and nightlife, Stay in ATL.

“One of the best hotel's”

a great trip eveyone were very warm and exceptional, i really enjoyed the curteous and friendly atmosphere. everything was convienence to the mall, eatery and stores of all kind was in walking distance of the hotel. A great and sucessful trip indeed.

“Would Definitely Go Back”

Our room was clean and neat. Hotel personnel were very nice and helpful. Check-In and Check-Out were both efficent and hassle-free. Excellent Hotel Amenities. Excellent Breakfast Buffet.

“VERY HAPPY!! Much more than we expected.”

Very nice hotel. Great value for the price we paid. Warm reception: AND they had the room just as I had requested. Breakfast was more than we expected. Unbeatable location. It was our first time in the area and we just loved it!! Highly recommended

Area recommendations

We went to Lake Lanier and it is sooo beautiful! You should not miss this place . We rented a boat and had a divine afternoon looking at the cabins our there and the Islands at Lake Lanier and watching the sunset. from the deck. End up buying the boat and shipping it to Yucatán. We drove around the area for 2 days. As most well traveled foreigners should know, Anglo-Americans are the experts in pre-fabricated experiences and Atlanta is no exception, so we visited the German village of Helen and Gainsville too. Then we went to Atlanta for 4 more days and found it to be a lovely city with great night life, wonderful restaurants and plenty of museums and exhibits, The aquarium is a must but you can live without the visit to the Coca-Cola center. Stone Mountain can be a nice family outing. The spring festival at Inmar Park was a delight and so was the botanical gardens and the Renaissance Festival. Do your homework ahead: the´s a lot to see and do in the Atlanta area. If you are visiting from another country and find that the USA is a good place to do your shopping, you wont be disappointed in Georgia: there are plenty of exclusive, regular and low cost malls as well as one or two outstanding outlet malls. The weather was just perfect in mid-April: sunny and chilly, a gift for us coming from southern México. Ah! there´s one thing: If you don´t speck English you may be in trouble, NADIE HABLA ESPAÑOL AHÍ.

When to go

We were there in mid-April and found the weather to be delightful. Sunny but cool enough to be able to enjoy anything you may want to do. As with any travel experience, you must walk if you want to really get to know the place. We sure welcomed the cool breeze.

Getting around

In the city of Atlanta you can go around using the MARTA and other public transportation. If you want to go outside of the city and visit surrounding areas as we did, you must rent a car. It´s easy to find your way around.

Must see

There are really lots of things to see and do in the Atlanta area. My favorites were the aquarium (they say it is the largest in the world) and the botanical gardens. Since I am crazy about wooden homes and cabins as well as gardens, I had a blast just walking around the residential areas and the lakes. Took lots of pictures and for sure my dream home is somewhere in there!

“Very comfortable and convenient.”

We had a small family gathering. Several rooms were rented. The lobby provided a good place for us to gather and enjoy each other. Sometimes the staff joined in briefly and we enjoyed that too. We were able to have a good, complimentary breakfast together and plan our day. The Mall of Georgia was very convenient. Good restaurants were/are within easy walking distance. Nice place for individuals or small groups.

Area recommendations

A good neighborhood is all around this property. The Mall of Georgia is across the street, but the street is so wide and busy it is necessary to drive there. The Olive Garden and Red Lobster Restaurants are accessible without car. They are within three to five minutes walk of the hotel lobby. Other, smaller restaurants, are also accessible by foot.

“Would stay again”

I spent one night at this hotel, the room was clean, the bed was very comfortable and the staffs were very pleasant. Overall I have no complaints.
