“Exceptional”
Exceptional experience. Expedia was perfect and the hotel experience was abslotely perfect.
“Nearly Perfect!”
Everything was not as expected - it was so much better!! I can't even begin to understand why some would leave a negative review. This place was great, especially for the price. We had a double/non-smoking room. It was extremely clean and the entire staff was incredibly nice. I hate to admit this, but I'm usually pretty high maintenance when it comes to most things, so I thought this was going to be drastic, but it was good and clean and, for the price, I couldn't have been happier!
“nice motel”
I enjoyed my stay in super 8. The staff was friendly and helpful. Everything was nice and clean.
“great for the price”
re-modeled no pets. I am lucky, I left my dogs at home.
“Good value.”
Exteriors of room doors and ice machine are shabby! Doors need to be painted. Ice machine CLEANED. Ivan was professional and knowledgable.
“Will use again!”
They hotel was located 10 minutes from Free Chapel church. I like that it also was near stores and resturants. I did mention to the manager that they need to change their bedding. The blankets were old with holes in them, other than that it wasn't a bad place to stay.
“Super8 Gainesville”
You get what you pay for. Overall the hotel is fine the neighborhood behind is somewhat seedy, however most parts of town are anyway.
“Mildly Impressed”
This seemed to be an older hotel but the staff went out of their way to ensure a clean and comfortable stay.
“Clean and Comfortable”
We stayed here on a Monday night in a clean room with a microwave and mini-fridge. The staff at the front desk were pleasant, and we had no problems. The only complaint was that the continental breakfast was a little skimpy (cereal, bagels, small pre-wrapped muffins, coffee, and juice), but for the price we paid to stay here, I can afford to go somewhere else for breakfast.
“Solid Stay for College Student”
With the economy the way it is, I've been forced onto a really tight budget, so I chose this place to stay while I was doing some college coursework/internship over at the LongStreet Clinic. The Good: Rooms come with a refrigerator and a microwave. This allowed me to save money by making my own lunch and dinners and storing them in 'fridge till I was hungry. Also, the motel had a decent breakfast (cereal, milk, and some little pastries). The Bad: Rooms were musky. Solution:Spray about a quarter bottle of Febreze and the room was fine after that. and the Ugly: Security is the weakpoint of this motel. Despite the staff's most sincere efforts, the fact remains that the surrounding area outside the motel ground is just no conducive to a secure environment. The Consensus: Solid place for a college student(s) on a tight budget to stay at. Just don't forget to bring a bottle of Febreze and look all three ways (left, right and behind you) before opening your door to enter the room.
