Pleasantly Surprised!
For the price I was pleasantly surprised with the condition of this room. It was clean and spacious, with basic TV and tea/coffee facilities. Exactly what I was after.

Lovely pub with rooms. Room was a great size and really comfortable. Service was friendly and welcoming. Evening meal was typical pub food, tasty and filling, with an excellent pudding list :-)

Beautifully kept accommodation, clean quiet and reasonably priced with excellent facilities and large bedrooms. Dog friendly too. Thanks for a great stay, would thoroughly recommend.

Well designed accessible room. Would have liked a chair/sofa as well as beds. Home cooking was great - best steak pie and fruit crumble we've had in years! Well kept ale.

One night stay at the Black Horse
Great value for money. Excellent quality accommodation in what appeared to be a purpose built single storey building adjacent to the main pub / hotel, with a 'terrace' of adjacent rooms. I had my own entrance door off the rear car park area with a room so large you could almost live out of it (ensuite shower room and a sofa also as well as plenty of storage for clothes). Great pub with good food and large selection of beers, etc and plenty of secure parking to rear.

The air conditioning was really welcome in our outside room. So quite we were able to sleep with it on. Nice hot showers in the morning, plenty of space in the rooms and comfotable seating. Staff friendly and very helpful, second time we have used them and will do so again in the future.

Very comfortable stay
Can’t fault the staff or accommodation. Only downsides were: 1. Emergency light in room has a green led which gives off a green glow all night. 2. I couldn’t have a hot breakfast because they didn’t start serving till 8.30am. Other than that very happy with the stay.

Toy fair weekend
WOW!!!!, what a belter of a pub in the small village of Blyton.We had an amazing fish & chip meal on our arrival.Rooms which are across the car park from the pub absolutely perfect for our needs,clean comfortable etc etc.Would THOURGHLY RECOMMEND & will definitely be back!!!!!!!!!

Been here a few times now and we were really pleased to find out they got good wifi for the rooms. 10 out of 10. Love it here. Pet friendly too which is perfect for us.
