“Wonderful Stay”

We stayed for two nights. The room was large enough for my family and the beds were very comfortable. The staff answered all our questions and were very helpful with everything.

Area recommendations

The National River Museum, Crystal Lake Cave, The Elevator. Going into Galena is a short drive and there are several things to do there as well.

“Good, clean, spacious”

Nice, clean, good food choices for breakfast (2 waffle makers, fresh donuts, bagels with flavored cream cheeses), pool water was a little cool and the pool area could have had more chairs, limited chairs made it hard for family to visit while kids were swimming. Close to shopping and Hwy 20 made it convenient for us. Would stay again.

Area recommendations

Lots of historic buildings, Eagle Point Park is a must-see. The Arboretum was beautiful.

“Clean Affordable Comfortable”

Everyone was friendly and the room was comfortable and clean. The only drawback was another guest with rude (older) children bouncing on and jumping off the bed at 1:00 a.m. Friday night!

“Well kept, clean hotel”

This was a nice hotel. There were a few restaurants in the immediate area of the hotel within walking distance.

“Comfortable and Friendly”

We only stayed one night so this was NOT a real necessity or problem for us, but the room had no microwave or fridge. We often travel with fresh fruit, to snack on and soda and/or water. Thought I remember them being listed as amenities. It would have been nice to know ahead of time.

River walk area. Very pretty and historic.

“Very nice hotel”

The hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly. The breakfast in the morning was very good. I would definitely recommed this hotel to others.
