I had to stay in a smoking room. Make all rooms non smoking. If they need a smoke do it out side behind the Building so the does't come tinto the lobby.

Pros: The hotel was located in a quiet part of Dubuque, Iowa, and the breakfast was delicious.
Cons: The staff is clearly not getting a room ready for guests. Management should be more interactive in this also.

Since I had been a guest in previous years, I had hoped that the AARP card would be accepted upon arrival as it had been in past years there. It was not.I checked in promptly at 3:00 p.m. The desk clerk was friendly, leaving me with the invitation to cookies around the corner. No cookies. I like cookies. I had a full itinerary for the evening, so I left my luggage, only returning once to quick change apparel. I didn't have time to exam every detail of the room. I returned late. I then saw that the upper deadbolt latch was broken, the room seemed dusty, including the exterior ridge around sink counter. The bathtub was very clean, but I was left a very damp towel. I hadn't used that towel. The king size bed had 4 pillows and a spare with the ironing board. Wow! I wasn't without pillow comfort. I was not at ease with the results of my stay, since there were guests down the hall that were noisy, and I had no extra bolt on my door to feel comfortable. I was too tired to try to change rooms. Next booking will be different.

Was very displeaesed with the room could hear everything outside room. Beakfast was poor for this hotel stay in lots before and had alot better. ran out oof food and things

Great get-a-way for an anniversary.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The staff was great. I enjoyed the hot breakfast each morning. I would difinitely stay here again. As a matter of fact, I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting this area.

Not what I expect from a Country Inn

Not at all what I expect from a Country Inn & Suites Especially for the money I was charged. Almost $100 dollars including tax. For such . a hotel the expected price should have been around $60 !!!!. This one only should be rated as a one star only hotel. The continental breakfast was only fair as the person in charge seemed to be in a hurry to get out as she started to clean the area 15 minutes early, however she did keep the area clean and supplied The hall carpeting was loose and in dire need of repair or replacement !!!!
