Desk Clerk was obnoxious upon check-in. Breakfast was good. Room isn't bad bud its an OLD motel in need of upkeep and maintenance. Door wouldn't shut and lock unless you held the jamb-plate in place.

Nice hotel. A bit dated but comfortablePosted Aug 18, 2014
Other than the ceiling being stained by a water leak the rest of the room was spotless. It was a non smoking no pets room but it had a musty odor to it. Otherwise it was very quiet and it was right for the money.

Had semi truck motor running all night out side of our room. The continental breakfast had no fresh fruit or donuts and rolls.

Days InnPosted Jul 31, 2014
Pros: the location
Cons: house keeping
Location: close to pretty much everything
Our room was very dirty. The walls in the bathroom had mold. Nothing in the room had been cleaned or dusted. The lock on the door would'nt shut tight unless we locked all the locks. There was stuff splattered all over the TV stand and the room had a very bad odor to it. Needless to say we won't be staying there again.

DisappointingPosted Jul 28, 2014
First off room smelled musty or moldy. Did not tell management, didn't think it would do any good. Went to walgreens and purchased a candle and frebreeze. There was no iron or ironing board in the room. Called the front desk and was informed there were done at the front desk. Asked for one to be brought up to the room. Was told no had to go and get it. Went and got it. And got a desk or table top ironing board. Could iron my pant and shorts with that. Will never stay there again.

The room was not clean.Posted Jul 27, 2014
Cons: Please refer to comments above.
Location: The location of the hotel was fine. The city of Dubuque had many activities was was wonderful.
The room was dirty. The most obvious and gross aspect was on the wall by the second bed. There were three areas of yuck from somebodys nose. We did not even use that bed. The bedspread had a large yellow stain on it-so we put that in a chair and did not use it. The desk had two areas of dried, crusted ?food? on it, which I scrubbed off with a washcloth. The rug had not been vacuumed. We could have contacted staff and complained; but we were tired and just wanted to get dinner and sleep. Also, by the way, expedia arrangements were for one king bed. Hotel staff said all they had were 2 double beds. The whole thing was not a good experience. Another negative-there were smashed bugs on corridor walls. Room 212-nite of July 25.

On the bluffs of Dubuque, IowaPosted Jul 21, 2014
Pros: Price and Location were very good for the area.
Cons: Another waste basket would have been nice.
Location: On the river, everything. First rate downtown shops and eateries. Three colleges in about a mile from the Hotel.
There were a few minor issues which they responded to without question. If you are on Highway 20, you need to watch for the sign. I don't think it could be bigger but it only gives you a short notice going West and almost NO notice going East. Hotel is on the North side of the road, one mile west of THE BRIDGE. Going east, you need to get off before you think you do. It is a right ramp.
