“Very nice place”

This is a great location as it is only 150 miles outside Chicago. Very nice room and golf course is great.

“Excellent resort!”

We arrived early at about 12 noon and were able to check into our room right away. Everyone was very friendly, very clean place and awesome and beautiful grounds and resort! Would go there again and would highly recommend this resort! Great indoor pool- large!

“Wonderful Resort, outside of Galena”

This is a wonderful place. It's ten or so minutes away from Galena itself, but my wife and I had a great time here for a quick get-away from Chicago. We played in the pool, went bicycle riding along the trails, even played frisbee next to the golf course! And the highlight was a hot air balloon ride! The hotel has nice restaurants and pleasant grounds to walk around, and the room was great.

“Pleasant surprise”

We had one of the one-bedrom condos on Oak Glen (number 32) and were really happy with the accommodations. Everything was clean and inviting; the living room was nicely furnished, and the bed was quite comfortable. It was nice and quiet as well (though it was late March). The only complaint was that we spent only one night there. Will definitely repeat.

Great place to stay if you're going to visit Galena.

“who to blame”

We had a great time at Eagle Ridge. Our only complaint will be directed at the individual who was required to clean our room. Apparently because we choose to remain in our room untill shortly after 11 am on sunday morning she/he decided only to make the bed and not clean or replace any soiled or used linen. When we returned later in the day house cleaning brought up linens, towels , glasses etc. This is a great place to stay and despite this unfortunate incident we plan on returning.
