“Fine for 1 night visit”

Nothing real fancy but very comfortable and clean. Not a lot of room if you have children staying with you. My only complaint was that the coffee maker was in the bathroom --need a bigger vanity in the bedroom for these types of items. Breakfast was very good as well. Definitely would recommend.

“Nice Place”

Very nice place, a little far from shopping. This is a two story hotel with no elevator, be aware of this when taking people who do not do well with stairs.

“Nice hotel in Galena”

We spent one night here and enjoyed our stay. The bed was very comfortable and the room was good, just what you expect from a Ramada Inn. The big surprise for us was how nice the pool is, we both thought it was the nicest one we've been in at a hotel. The size is big, the temperature was perfect and the depth was just right too. The hot tub was toooo hot for us, about 5 degrees less would have been nice. The hotel was quiet and the continental breakfast was better than most, with more options than others usually have. All in all, a nice stay!

Can tell this hotel is in the country. Very "historic" furniture in rooms. It fits the town.

“Really Disappointed”

I have gone to Galena many times and have stayed at many different places. I would return to all except the Ramada. The room was musty and smelled of disinfectant. The carpet was very old. The beds were not comfortable. One of the reasons I chose the Ramada was the work out facilities. I worked out all three mornings and am in fairly good shape. The equipment was old, but the worse part was the room was not air conditioned and there were no fans. There were some obese people and I think it is truly dangerous for a room to be that hot and not ventilated. Someone could pass out from the heat. I love Galena and as I said I would return to every other place I have stayed but NOT the Ramada. Truly a disappointment!

The Ramada provided the perfect service for the weekend of my wedding - we were close to Main Street and downtown shopping, eating, and pampering for me and my girls! It was wonderful having Indulge Spa right there on-site as well. If I went back to Galena, I would definitely consider staying again!
