We were passing through Galena and decided to stay here and check out the downtown area. This turned out to be a great location, easy access to downtown and very comfortable and clean. Great breakfast.

Well maintained, nicely decorated, beautiful pool and hot tub. Excellent staff. Well stocked “pantry” , we had ice cream every late evening!

Everyone was super friendly, Alisha was amazing and had great customer service. Dog friendly and the staff was lovely with my fur baby.

Beautiful hotel, more like cabin feel, so cozy. Loved everything about it and only a5 min drive to main part of galena. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Such a beautiful and nice place! Some places you see look so nice in pictures, but disappoint in real life. This place exceeded expectations! Staff was very accommodating, room was nice and clean. Love the adult hour for the pool. It was such a great trip and definitely will be coming back soon!

We stayed in the Theme Suite with Whirlpool. It was so cute. They paid attention to all the little details. The hot tub and pool both were great. The hotel was very quiet and we loved every minute of it.

We do like staying here. Very cozy feeling. Seems to be a great spot between several things like Downtown Galena and conveniences like other stores. We like the hot tub, however, they do keep the pool on the cold side. Not very enjoyable. The breakfasts are really great and the breakfast room is cozy feeling with fire place. They only down side this time around is that our room smelled like wet dog.

Nice rustic, very well decorated place and not far from downtown.. The manager bartended on tues nite and was very friendly , helpful.. I would recommend as nice anenmities with a small gym, a pool and hot tub, small bar, and sitting places to enjoy whilte u wait..

No hot water
Stayed in the fishing shack suite, have stayed at this hotel many times over the years! All was well, until showering the next morning! NO HOT WATER! The sink had hot water but not the shower! I mentioned the issue at checkout! Thought they might discount the rate or offer something, but no, they did thank me for letting them know! LOL

We visit Galena twice a year. Every single time, we choose to stay at the Stoney Creek Inn, and that won't be changing. It has a wonderfully cozy atmosphere, is clean, the rooms are very nice, hot tub and pool is a plus, free breakfast, convenient location, and fairly priced. I have nothing bad to say about the place and we really look forward to our trips to Galena, in large part because of the Stoney Creek Inn.
