The drain in bathroom did not drain . There was people tuning up and down the room above us all night the first night. The neighborhood had a dog in the room that was crying all day we ended up staying at a friends the second night and also the 3 rd night.
I reserved a double queen room but was given a single queen (the second bed had been removed) which was not a huge inconvenience because I was travelling alone. My biggest concern was that the room smelled terribly. It smelled of stale cigarette smoke and a sort of mildew kind of odor. I ended up going to the store a couple blocks away and buying a can of air freshener AND a plug-in just to make the room odor tolerable.
They had people hanging around outside in white vans. They used very bad language to my wife. She was really upset. Need to get rid of lorting. They are black. Races
we got a room for us and our dogs one bed had dried blood and pee on the blanket

Thank you for taking the time to complete an online survey. After check in we did a courtesy call to make sure everything was ok. You and your guest said the room was awesome. You stayed with us for two nights. The next day we also had a conversation with you about the room service and you were very satisfied. At the time of check out when your credit card was overused and was declining for the pet charges there you guys started having issues to make arrangements of the payment. We still took it very professionally and did 3 courtesy calls and still you were not taking the responsibility to pay for it. We called you at 10:30am and said that if you don't take care of the payment before checking out then we have to file a complaint. Then two unknown persons came in to take care of it and was very rude with the front desk. Still after all your guests rudely behavior at desk and cursing the employee, sorry for inconvenience
I had to wait over 30 minutes to check in because the employee here was not here, and I called multiple times!

The staff was rude. Requested handicapped room and did not get one. They did not have one with double beds and they did not let pets stay in handicapped room if they had one. Mold in bathroom and room where beds were. Cigarette burns on tub, exposed wires on smoke detector. Will never stay in one again. Would have left but no other rooms in town with double beds and would have been charged even with all the issues.

Have stayed here several times and it has always been clean and the staff accommodating. It is an older building however it has been pretty well maintained. My only negatives: desk was wobbly (loose legs), the desk chair felt weak, and the side chair was low back and very uncomfortable.

Needs updating
Nicely decorated but needs updating. Whoever repaired the caulk didn't know what they were doing. Room wasn't cleaned while we were out for 9 hours but at least they replaced the missing coffee maker. Breakfast was good with ample choice. Excellent location.
The TV did not work nor did the telephone. Went to front desk and was told they would come up to remedy the problem. No one showed up. The floor lamp also did not work.
room was not patron ready. all electronics were unplugged. telephone was disassembled. television had to be reset. toilet paper was on the sink counter. no cups or coffee pot. no wash rags. beds were clean though.
We encountered a few issues with our room (no shower curtain or wash clothes, no TP) and we brought this to the attention of the night desk clerk. He was deeply apologetic and immediately moved us to a new and more expensive room. The new room was clean and ready for our stay. So - the property is pretty good but the employees I encountered were Top Notch!
The bathroom door did not latch. Things looked worn.
The breakfast had no beverages except water and everything else was prepackaged. No fresh fruit either.
Nice hotel on inside of lobby and outside bed were a little bit wore out and sagging in the middle i was there for 4 days and never had housekeeping had doors slamming shut all hours of the night made it hard to sleep especially night before a 10 hour drive the next day
Very friendly desk clerk. Even helped my wife with the door as she had her hands full. Older facility, but they are in the process of doing some upgrades. Breakfast was just bagels, fruit, yogurt or cold cereal. Very comfortable bed.
Horrible stay experience!! I stayed 2 nights there. Upstairs was walking in the room in 3am. The ceiling and floor was shaking and loud. Couldn’t sleep. Talk to hotel first night, they didn’t do anything about it. Second night they won’t give us a different room and lied to us saying they don’t have any available room. Me and my wife only got 3 hours sleep and have to go to meetings in Galesburg. Just stay away from this hotel , something wrong with this hotels structure.
