Pros: Beds were comfortable.
Location: Close to I-40
Nothing fancy. There are many much better hotels for about the same price.

Certainly adequatePosted Oct 14, 2013
After an 8 hr drive from California this room was all I needed. Comfortable bed, fridge, microwave, coffee pot and wi-fi that worked easily. The reviews on this place were so mixed I didn't know what I'd find but it was certainly adequate and I was a woman traveling alone. On the other side, the lobby and hallways are dreary, the staff cld have had a little more energy and I skipped the lifeless breakfast but for $60 I wasn't expecting the Ritz. The train rumbles by fairly frequently but I'm not a light sleeper and never heard it until I awoke in the morning.

Good hotel, great price!Posted Jul 1, 2013 on Hotels.com
We had stayed at this hotel in previous years before the renovation/name change and things have definitely improved! Our room was updated and clean and the beds were very comfortable. The train did not bother us, but we did keep our window A/C unit running all night which perhaps helped. There's not a whole lot around the hotel as far as dining/entertainment, but it's close to the highway for easy access. The breakfast was OK, nothing spectacular, but the price for one night was so low I honestly wasn't expecting much anyway. The staff was VERY nice and welcoming!

Light fixture didn't work. No coffee maker in room. One of the lamps had no light bulb. Hotel is right by railroad tracks. The people that work here are very nice, however. Over all, this place is in bad shape.

Mildly disappointedPosted Jun 27, 2013 on Hotels.com
The desk clerk was unfriendly and abrupt. Wi-Fi in the room was not working and swimming pool was unheated (45 degrees according to the unconcerned clerk). No elevator to 2nd floor. The room was clean but dingy. Cracked tiles in the bathroom and peeling paint. Carpet was well past it's pull date, thin and had holes. The bed was firm, well pillowed (who started the trend to lots of small pillows anyway?) and with clean linens. An acceptable overnight, but just barely.

Somewhat DisappointingPosted Jun 26, 2013
Cons: We were there for four days and the internet/wi-fi didn't work the entire time. Housekeeping services could be improved.
The staff were friendly and the hotel was clean, however, housekeeping services for our room was lacking. We were not provided cups for 3 of the four days we were there, we were provided ice bucket liners for two days, ironing board wasn't put away, etc.
