Rate Red Lion Hotel Gallup,NM

Pros: Closeness to Route 40, quietness of the room, the hot breakfast offered in the morning.
Cons: Replace the ottoman in the room.
Room was very large and spacious. The ottoman at the corner of the room was spotted with a stain that wasn't pleasant to look at. The swimming pool and hot tub weren't available.

Great donut and deli shop across the road. Hotel staff very helpful. Room nice and clean.

Nasty room and nasty breakfast to match!

Stranded due to car in the shop. Traveling from Texas to Washington. Hotel was dirty, shower temp was barely warm, staff was grumpy and seemed irritated when I need help. Complimentary breakfast was disgusting - fake eggs and hash browns, and nasty, greasy sausage. A MAJOR disappointment. We've stayed in Gallup, NM before - but not here, and NEVER again will we stay in this town.

I ordered two steaks one well done the other medium both was very well done and very dry. I would recommend this hotel but not the restaurant.

Pros: The updated rooms, friendly staff and nice breakfast. Super quiet!
Traveling through and stayed in Gallup. What a surprise. Very nice accommodations which included an updated room, friendly staff and an awesome breakfast! Highly recommend!

Average Hotel

Pros: Breakfast was awesome!
Cons: Cleaning rooms each day, fresh towels each day, working hot tub, and heated pool
Location: It is located west of town. There are lots of shops in town and loved the Red Rocks Balloon Rally. People were very nice and friendly in the shops.
Nice big rooms and comfy beds. Had to ask to have room cleaned and fresh towels. The pool was not heated and the hot tub was not operational. The breakfast was excellent and early enough so we could crew for the balloon rally. The staff were friendly and helpful although my first reservation had not been canceled as requested when I found a cheaper rate. So, almost ended up with two rooms. The girl at the desk was very helpful and there were no extra charges. It was not the best place I have stayed but not the worst either!

Red Lion Hotel

Pros: The rooms were huge
Cons: Heater, staff, Tv's!
Location: Nothing
When I booked this online it told me that it had 3 rooms left for vacancy, when i arrived it was very cold in the lobby. The guy told me that their heater broke just in the lobby. There were only 4 ppl there that vacated the hotel. It looked very scary and cold. We got into our room and the thermostat read 65 degrees, and we turned on the heater and waited for 2 hours for the room to heat up but it only got to 67 degrees. This was about 1:30 am and i was very dissapointed and made the front desk switch us to a room that was more comfortable and warm. We had to wake up our children in the middle of the night and switch rooms. I did not like the stay.

Room was cold and adjusting thermostat did not help. Hot tub was tepid and no jets. Restaurant had sold its liquor liscence and cut it's menu down to a few entrees.
