Well, it is just sosoPosted Sep 3, 2013
Cons: AC controller, water pressure and the breakfast
We move there during labor day for one night. The staffs were kind and friendly. However, the rooms were not that "friendly" to us. Whole room smell strangely, low water pressure in the restroom and terrible AC controller. If you think about the price during the holiday,it is good place as it is the cheapest one I can find around the TX City.

I have stayed here years ago and was very pleased so i booked with this hotel again and this will be my last..I did find out its under new management and its needs improvement because the pool area-was very dirty, cigs butts all over, broken chairs and grass very long.Landscaping-entrance to my room grass very, very long and trash can outside overfull and really bad smell.Hallway carpets threw most of hotel not cleaned all weekend, full of grass and trash.Breakfast-not much of choice,I left my room for a morning to come back to housekeeping turning off my ac and a roach on bedroom floor that they never cleaned.I would have to say for the price i paid it wasn't worth it and the best thing about hotel was lady at the front desk..

Beach weekendPosted Aug 20, 2013
Pros: For us the in house bar was a major bonus. We didn't bring kids so we were able to drink in the same hotel. Always a plus.
Cons: Are ac was not working but it was quickly replaced
This hotel was clean and had a good location . We never did make it to the pool because it was always over crowded.

They were good looking rooms but instead of queen beds we got full. We also found a roach which was a little disgusting but besides that they were great. Hoping to stay there again next year!

Nice room. Helpful Staff.Posted Aug 16, 2013
Pros: Room was fine.
Cons: Repair peeling ceiling in bath.
Location: Close enough to all activities in Galveston.
When we arrived we noticed the grass needed cut & it was done the very next day. The have a very nice large dining room but only serve cold donuts & bagels for breakfast. The pool looked great but we went to beach. The ceiling in bathroom was peeling in one area. It was a comfy room with nice beds & no problems.

Ok but needs work!Posted Aug 12, 2013
Pros: The pool ROCKED!
Cons: A full Continental breakfast not old bagels cold donuts and watered down juice
Location: Location is the wonderful! Loads to do around the hotel!
Our room was 119 and the a/c was not cooling the room off enough! Over all room was nice and clean! Hotel pool was the best thing about the whole place! Hotel Continental breakfast was a JOKE! Which I planed on eating at the hotel Friday morning Saturday morning and Sunday morning to help with cost so I had to Come up with another $75 for breakfast. Old bagels, cold donuts, and watered down juice is not breakfast. That's all they had all 3 mornings. The grass around and in parking lot was not moved until Sunday morning as we were checking out. Check out of 11am was not worth it so I asked for extended stay they said only till 12 which was not much help. Bath tube plug didn't work had to use wash rag to hold water in tub also took forever to fill as well as water pressure sucked. If I had to stay one night I would but long stays I will would stay else wher
