“A great time....”

The place was very clean and well kept. We stayed a week and really enjoyed our stay! The staff was very nice and helpful. it was a great relaxing vacation. Even the other guests were friendly and respectful. We recommend this place!!!!

“Value for your money!”

Reading the reviews of past guest experiences, I wasn't expecting much of the Beachcomber Inn. However, it only goes to prove to each his own. We were pleased with this simple, no frills hotel. The front desk staff were professional, polite, and very accomodating. The 3 rooms we had were clean and everything in working order. Having a mini fridge and microwave in the rooms was a bonus. Especially appreciated being able to leave our cars while on our cruise. The continental breakfast is not much but there is a McDonald's across the street and a grocery store within walking distance. I recommend this hotel to someone who just wants a clean room for an unbeatable price...

“Good Location”

It was located in a very good location. Close to the Seawall and minutes from 45.

“Would stay there again!”

Breakfast wasn't fancy but it was good. Bagels, toast, juices, danishes, cereal, fruit and oatmeal. The pool is small but wasn't crowded at all, we enjoyed it. The rooms were nice, the only thing that didn't work was the blow dryer but who needs that at the beach. The maids cleaned our room each day we were there. Staff is friendly. Definintely would stay there again!

Within walking distance (one half block) of the beach and other dining and shopping options in Galveston. Requests made to front desk were handled very quickly.

The hotel smelled really clean, if that makes any sense. I was also happy to see that the hotel really is in walking distance of the beach. A block, tops. It's also in walking distance of stores and restraunts. Basically once I got to the hotel, I didn't drive anymore until I was leaving Galveston. The hotel was definitely worth it. If you're expecting the Hilton, it's not that. But for a guy like me, who just wanted a weekend of fun at the beach, it's perfect.

Courteous staff.Convenient to everything.Hotel still being upgraded from the storm. I will stay at Beachcomber when I go back to Galveston.

“Convient,clean & comfortable”

The hotel has a great free breakfast buffet,free internet with computer supplied in lobby and a microwave and fridge in rooms. The hotel is close to the beach and places to shop or eat. I would recommend it to anyone wanting an economical stay but with clean pleasant surroundings. It is not 5 star, but for a vacation at the beach it is ideal. Will definitely return the next time we are in Galveston.
