Nice and quiet, and had restaurants within walking distance. Not very crowded. Staff was friendly. I had a problem with a double charge, but the front desk resolved it quickly. Very good for the price. Two issues...1. We didn't get room service daily, but we were able to get towels and other items from the custodian. 2. We had three rooms, and had trouble getting the keys to work for each. Even after getting them reprogrammed about 4 times, we had to try again and again to get in. But great deal for our 10-day stay.

The property and staff were great!!! It’s Expedia that sucks and didn’t actually book the room so it wasn’t available when I got here. Even though I booked over a year ago. But the staff was amazing and were able to find a room that at least had a couch to sleep on since there were no double beds. Thanks for nothing Expedia

Worst Best Western non stay
We were told that the hotel was having a temporary water issue and some paint touch up. When we got there it was at the end of a complete remodel. Our room was still being worked on when we walked in and the paint was still wet. They had to move us to another hotel. That was a Motel 6 that was decent but not comparable to Best Western.

Property was recently renovated and was nice and clean. Room was well taking care of through out our stay. Staff was always friendly and polite.

The staff was horrible it was a young pencil neck hispanic girl that was working the middle shift she immediately questioned my payment as if i hadn't already paid acted as if i was going to have to pay again and then right after that gave us the key card to the room and it worked once or twice so everytime we left the room we had to go and deal with the girl i described to reactivate the key card, after so many times of dealing with this problem we just decided to leave early the remainder of the stay was not worth it please dont choose this hotel the staff will drain all your positive energy it will be best to pay a little more and go somewhere else the stay was a disaster.

The property had security cameras in place. No wild noises or big gatherings cause it was empty till friday 26th of May. We arrived on the 24th, the tables, night stand were dirty and outside window shade chain was broke so we couldn't put it down. The bathroom celling fan did noy work, bathtub water kept dripping at a rapide pace, and the desk chair arm was about to fall off. We cleaned the table, desk and toilet. reported these issues in the morning before we left. We were assured each day they would fix it. these issues were not fixed until Saturday. they brought a chair from another room, replaced the fan in 10min, fixed the shade in 10min, slowed the bathtub to a drip all in less than 45min. This management was horrible, told us on Sunday we should have went to another hotel, you paid a cheap rate. I could have got more money from someone else. Next time leave so i can get someone else for three X's the money. This was our 27th Anniversary, that's why we booked in advance and it was holiday weekend.

Was staying here to board a cruise at Port Galveston. This was a quick convenient place to stay for the night. Also had a quick breakfast, staff were helpful and friendly.

Needed wheelchair accessible room and it was provided, shower chair was off balance. Breakfast was served from 7-10 and when we got there at 9, there wasn’t any batter left for waffles. Maid didn’t speak English
