Small, nice place close to ocean and activities.Posted Feb 3, 2014
Pros: Location and kitchen
This is a nice place but very small. We had 6 and it was very tight. Only one person can fit in the kitchen area at a time. Bunks are great for kids but would be small for adults. It was great for what we used it for which was spending one night before our cruise. I would not have wanted to stay longer only because of how small it was. With our luggage and kids we filled the whole place. Very friendly and helpful staff. Didn't know ahead of time but when I checked in they offered me free parking during 6 day cruise.

Pros: location, small working kitchen
Been there several times, it the only place we have stay at. we will be going back. The TV had an issue, but wasn't bad enough to call the officeto fix it.

Average hotel with nice, helpful staffPosted Nov 4, 2013
The hotel was average. It was not a newer hotel, but it was clean and quiet and equipped with a kitchen, which we did not use. I booked this hotel because it was the only one listed on Expedia with vacancies the night before our cruise departure, other than a couple of much more expensive hotels. Even so, I thought that the price for this hotel was a little steep, considering the late October time frame. The room had a balcony which looked out across other hotel units and parking area. The view from the balcony was not an issue for us, since we just needed a place to stay. The staff was nice and helpful.

Convenient location and decent staff.Posted Oct 31, 2013
Pros: Staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel is laid out nicely with a convenient location to all amenities.
Cons: Hotel is a bit dated but I think they are working on it. Beds definitely need upgrading.
Location: Location is very convenient and quick walk to grocery, pharmacy, restaurants and local attractions through buses.
Easy to find location and enjoyed the stay.

Great LocationPosted Oct 30, 2013 on Hotels.com
The rate was great and almost every room has a great view. This is a great place to take your family and right across the street from the ocean. The staff was great and check in was a breeze! Can't wait to see the remodel coming soon. Will stay here again and again.

Pretty nice place overallPosted Oct 25, 2013 on Hotels.com
Room was clean. No bugs. Giant TV in living room. Small but working kitchenette. View of the ocean from our room (along with Popeyes, McDonalds, gas station). Excellent location in terms of access to the piers, Moody Gardens, beaches, restaurants. Comes with utensils, so don't bring any like we did. Balcony was a nice touch. Decor is a little dated, but clean. Staff were friendly. Pool in the back of property, clean and clear. Bedroom is nice, with a ledge behind it and TV in the room. Sleeping quarters for two kids are built into the hallway wall, another nice touch. I'd stay there again as the price was affordable. Clientelle was definitely middle class like us. No BMWs in the parking lots, but there were lots of out-of-staters, pick-up trucks and older models of cars. Couch in living room was a little saggy/worn, and all the furniture is modest and slightly dated. Hope this helps.
