Breathtaking views and suite on Seawall Blvd!Posted Aug 17, 2014
Pros: Location to oceanfront, views, staff.
Cons: Elevators and free ice.
Location: Beach access, lots of restaurant options, and easy to access places like Strand Historic District.
Incredibly friendly, passionate, and helpful staff members including working with us to get the best view of the ocean possible with the rooms available and advising us for future stays. In addition, staff provided excellent information on local must sees! Suites are impeccable! Both the kitchenette and bathroom have been updated with granite counter tops and ceramic tiling. The patio was a nice addition to the stay ... sunrises and sets were breathtaking. For an extended stay the availability to do laundry is very convenient. We were able to pack up for the day and walk to the beach. Two minor inconveniences: the elevators are slow and you do have to pay $0.25 per bucket for ice.

Cramped, but close to the beach.Posted Aug 16, 2014
Pros: It's close to the beach, hotel staff was friendly. Nice mid-sized fridge.
Location: Right on the seawall. Close to Moody Gardens, Schlitterbahn, The Strand, and the Galveston Harbor.
We had a double bed, with two bunk beds and a fold out sofa. The room had a nice small balcony, and a small kitchen. The bunk beds can only be used by children...my son is 5'8", and too tall for a bunk. My daughter is 5'2", and just barely fit. The bedroom was extremely small, with very little room to maneuver around the double bed.

Galveston 2014Posted Aug 15, 2014
Our family has gone here for the last ten years and this year was one if the best. As bad as the beach smelled this year, our room overcame it. This was a super clean unit that did not have any funny smells or anything wrong at all. We loved it and plan to be back once again. Thanks Casa Del Mar!

Close to the beach, just a walk across.Posted Aug 7, 2014
Nice place! Very close to beach but very busy spot. Made it hard to get in and out because of traffic constantly. Rooms were nice and bed was comfy. Overall I would definitely go back based on our experience!

Nice family hotel.Posted Aug 5, 2014
Overall the stay was good. Could of been better. I noticed the couches were a little dirty with some stains nothing major. What we really liked was the kitchen with a mid size stove and fridge, also the hotel provide full kitchenware. Everything else was very clean and comfy.

Quick beach vacation with kids.Posted Aug 4, 2014
Pros: The view!! The kitchen.
Cons: Could be a cleaner, we found a hair ball in the clean towels.
The room has a great view of the ocean. The rooms at a little on the small side but comfy. We had a bathroom door that wouldn't lock so i called the front desk, with in 15 minutes they had a new lock installed on the door. That was very fast service.

Nice, clean hotel across from seawall.Posted Jul 29, 2014
Pros: Everything there for extended stay. Everything was new it seemed.
Location: The location was a pretty long walk to most resturants, except Golden Corral. The ocean is just across the street.
The room was smaller than pictures, but was fine. The queen bed is in room by itself, and pull out queen sofa. Nice balcony with chairs & table. Everything was new. small kitchen with everything, including dishes. Next door to Golden Corral. Early birds in your group can just walk on over to the water while others take their time.
