Great staff all around! Good breakfast selection, beds were decently comfy, could have been bigger though. Nice pool and super hot hottub. Definitely would stay there again.

Friendly Staff, Clean Rooms, Pleasant Stay
Posted Jan 4, 2013
Pros: Great value for the location.
Cons: Having a room too close to the elevator.
Location: Close to Galevston.
This hotel is a great option for people looking to visit Galveston without having to pay as much as the hotels on the Galveston. The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and our stay was very nice. The only drawback for us was our room was close to the elevator, and so we would hear a loud "ding" noise every time someone was on our floor. It was a little annoying late at night when we were trying to get to sleep, but that will really depend on how busy the hotel is.

Great Hotel

This hotel was great. We stayed here to get a less expensive hotel while visiting Galveston. The hotel was very clean, and the staff was very friendly and accomodating. I would definatly stay here again.

Perfect for cruisers the night before embarking.
Posted Jan 8, 2013
Pros: It's small, quiet, and a short drive from Galveston.
Cons: It's near the Texas City refineries. The view isn't that great, but the smell from them wasn't a problem.
Location: It's a few miles off of I-45 in Texas City, which is about an hour southeast of Houston and 10-15 minutes from Galveston.
This hotel is about 10-15 minutes from Galveston, and it costs much less than a comparable Galveston hotel. It's perfect if you are spending the night before leaving on a cruise, like what we did. It has a free continental breakfast, a pool, and wi-fi so, unless you are looking for a 5-star hotel, this is probably all you will need. The next time we cruise out of Galveston, we will stay here again the night before we embark.
