“UNHAPPY”

Not a happy visit and will not go back. I understand this is a two star but upkeep and cleanliness should still be followed. Wallpaper coming off, small holes in the tables, bathroom faucets replaced incorrectly and my personal favorite (found the next morning) small bloodstains on the sheets! Staff was not rude and apologized that I was unhappy but... so what?

Disgusting. Walking to our room we discovered the middle stairwell had garbage stored in it. Thought nothing of it, as it has to get downstairs somehow. Well it stayed there all day. The stairwells smelled like a dumpster. After removal, the garbage water that had leaked out in a large puddle. This wasn't just a few bags, it was a pile of 15-20 bags from every room on each floor. Our son has autism and will not take elevators, we were stuck with the nasty stairwell, and he started to refuse those as well. The pool. Again nasty. Hadn't been cleaned in weeks if not months. Chemicals were so far off my eyes watered and burned. I have a pool, I know what they should be like. The dirt on the sides of the pools was so think you could write your name in it. Seriously. I did. And took a picture of it. Gross. There was a major condensation issue in the pool area and their solution was to have the windows all wide open. At 60 degrees outside, and a pool full of kids. The condensation may have been the cause of a lighting issue. Pool room lights flickered on and off like a strobe light, different fixtures randomly flashing rapidly on and off. I thought it was a feature before realizing they were malfunctioning. Safe. Not. Breakfast, besides the cereal being so stale it was chewy instead of crunchy... the food was sparse and hardly fresh. Add to that the "mom" of this operation chased people down from returning to rooms with food. Eating in rooms is prohibited? I'll never return.

Can see the beach from every room. Nice indoor pool. Nice restaurants are near by.

Clean room, king bed, but A/C unit had a scorched plug and looked like it had shorted out. We asked for another room, whcih they immediately gave us (and called maintenance to repair the A/C unit. Unfortunately, they didn't have another room with a king bed, but it worked out. Rooms were very clean. We would go back.
