“Before and after our cruise”

Front desk staff quite helpful. Breakfast buffet good. Rooms clean, and beds quite comfortable. There were 5 of us, and all of us did great. The hotel is about 50 yards off the seawall drive, which made for increased quiet.

I was very impressed with my stay. Hotel is in a nice location for beach access and close to all the resturants of city. Staff is top notch helping with any questions i had! will stay again!

“A Great Hotel in Galveson”

The hotel was clean, comfortable and the staff was extremely helpful. I checked it out on expedia before I booked. It's located on the Sea Wall Blvd and close to restuarants and miniature golf course. I would definitely stay there again or recommend it to my friends. Saw two dolphins from the ferry! I was happy to see that Galveston is really working to get back in shape.

“great experience”

I didn't know where the hotel is b/c the address is not on the Seawall, but I was greatly surprised to find the hotel at walking distance from the beach (if you are lucky and get the front 3rd floor rooms you get an ocean view also). Great facility, I believe is almost brand new. The 2 queen beds room I got was super clean, smelling so nice when i got in,clean bathroom, brand new furniture, tv, a/c, microwave. Hotel has wireless internet connection. There is a cinema and a mini golf course at walking distance. This is a non-smoking facility. No smoking in the room, no smoking on the balconies or at the pool. There are smoking area though outside of the hotel. Oh, I almost forgot very good continental breakfast and friendly employees. Overall, it was a great experience. I'll definitely go there again.

Great hotel! My children had a really good time on spring break. Must wall up to the coast on Seawall beautiful at night. Hotel staff nice and friendly :)

“Will stay thier again”

This is a great hotel. It was very nice. The hotel staff were great. Very nice and clean. The beds were very comfortable.

We were driving form Schlitterbahn (a short drive away), and were approaching Hotel from back street. First we thought that the HI Express was it, and everyone seem a little disappointed when I told them it was not. That changed as soon as we walked in to the hotel, were we were greeted by a very nice and efficient receptionist. Service was prompt and accurate. Rooms were just perfect. Room temperature was just right, room smell clean, bathrooms were very clean. Breakfast included scrabbled eggs, hard boiled eggs, waffles and sausages. I am sure that if I would have asked, I could have had a sunny side up! My wife and 3 daughters were just delighted

“Great Stay”

We stayed 1 night before leaving out for a cruise. We had 5 adults, and the accomodations were great. We had 2 Queen beds and a sleeper sofa. The staff was great, especially since the cruise ship was delayed for hours. We had transportation, so were unaffected, but I know they were helping out those who had planned to take the shuttle. The breakfast was good and plentiful. There is a gift shop and little restaurant across the (side) street. The beach wasn't very accessable (too rocky), but the view was beautiful. Being right there on Seawall Blvd, it was just a short drive to the more touristy section. By the way, Casey's was wonderful. My son ate the (Adam Richmond-Man vs Food) Cardiac Arrest Burger, and said was best ever. (Adult) kids liked the hot tub; pool was a little cool for early May.

“Almost new”

The room was spacious and comfortable. The carpet didn't have that "we're right on the beach so live with it" look or smell. Very pleasantly surprised. We've paid a lot more for a whole lot less on weekend trips to Galveston. A great room at a great rate.

“Dickens on the Strand”
