“gotta love a brand new hotel”

The sink was really slow to drain, but the hotel was very willing for us to switch rooms. They were also so accomodating as to let us store our food from our cooler in their staff fridge. Very nice people.

“First Weekend Open, Outstanding Staff”

I made reservation for the hotel 3 hours before showing up on the first night the hotel opened. The hotel staff was primed and ready to serve. The check-in went smoothly, although some of the staff was still training. My room was nice, with updated contemporary furnishings. The bed was comfortable with 4 large pillows on each queen bed. I also liked that you could adjust the temperature in the room from the wall or at the unit. There is also a large plasm screen T.V. in the room. The hotel is right across from the beach and next door to Wendy's and Fish Tails restaurants. The hotel also has a restaurant and bar located inside. I had breakfast the next morning. I was the first guest the hotel staff cooked for and they went out of their way to please me. The bartender gave me instructions on how to get to the strand and different tourist spots. The hotel was nice, but what made the experience special for me and my son was the staffs' special attention. Every time my son and I walked through the lobby of the hotel, one of the staff always addressed us. We felt very special. The hotel also has a pool and plenty of free parking. I usually stay at the St. Luis when I visit Galveston, but my new place that is affordable, comfortable and still very stylish is the Sheraton.

Everything was excellent except the air conditioner which was an older one room model, not a centralized system. It was very noisy even on low fan speed setting and we found a pair of male underwear left by previous guest hanging on the shower curtain rod. But we would stay there again and recommend it to others.

My mother lives in Galveston,so it is nice to finally have a hotel that is close to her that is reasonable, clean, and sparkling new.

“Outstanding customer service!”

The two front desk women were very helpful and welcoming. Wendy went above and beyond to give us assistance at check in and check out and also assisted us with directions. The cleaning and restaurant staff were also very polite and helpful. The hotel is very clean and comfortable and directly across from the beach for a late and early stroll. There are several restaurants in the area and it is also a nice straight walk to The Strand. I would loved to have had a jacuzzi at the pool to soak in at the end of the day and I would recommend changing the bedding, as it is quite stiff. My teenage son enjoyed the extensive cable and free computer stations in the lobby. Overalll, it was a great stay and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice and safe hotel with outstanding customer service on the Seawall.

Hotel did a great job. Service was great. Hotel was clean. I think the hotel is to expensive for what you get but still a great stay.

“Wonderful stay”

We stayed at this hotel for 1 night only and I had a wonderful stay. Being a weekday we got a good deal. You can't beat the location - right on the beach. We ate dinner at Fish Tales an iconic seafood eat / bar and loved it. Fish Tales and other eats are within walking distance to the hotel.

“New, clean with great beds”

This hotel is brand new having been gutted after a hurricane and completely remodeled. The rooms are really nice, the beds are great and the bathroom was spotless. If this hotel has one shortfall it is the staff. The young woman who checked us in was very nice but the rest of the staff was sketch. It probably has to do with the labor pool in Galveston but my suggestion is simple. Stay out of the lobby and stay in your room. You'll love the experience.
