“excellent for the money”

The rooms have been remodelled since recent storm damage and are quite satisfactory. Lots of hot water and little noise. Only criticism was thinness of the towels could have been newer,thicker and more of them but once again good for the money. Once you have figured out how to find the place it is convenient for cruisers as parking is free with one nights stay---have returned more than once and would recommend this place.

Great place to stay when on a budget. The parking lot is a little hard to get into if not coming off the freeway, but there are several ways to get in from other directions. It's not on the beach, but its not really necessary since we weren't in there very long. Continental breakfast provided. Would stay there again.

“Nice place, good rates”

I enjoyed my stay there. The room was pretty spacious. It's cheaper than a lot of the other options, but close to the things you'd want to do. It is an older building, which means it's not exactly the most wheelchair-friendly. It was not a problem for me, exactly, because I had help. But for other disabled, prospective travelers, I thought I should give a heads up. Of minor inconvenience is that there are steps to get to the level of the rooms. There is a ramp, but only one. If your room happens to be at the opposite end of the hotel (as mine was), parking anywhere near your room is not an option. So, here's your heads up. I still give it 4/5 overall. The staff is helpful and friendly. The location is convenient.

“Good value for cost”

The location of the motel was very convenient, about equidistant to Strand and Seawall. The room was clean (except a permanent stain on the carpet), the sheets and towels were fine (not plush, but not thin, either), and the tv and appliances worked. The AC and fan were very noisy but the room was too stuffy to go without them. Open windows would have helped, but the area didn't seem safe enough for that.
