“Wonderful End of Summer Weekend”

Took our grandchildren and stayed the weekend and were very satisfied with our stay at the Hampton Inn. Room was extremely comfortable and clean.

“Nice”

Our room was very nice and comfortable. We had a balcony with a view of the shopping area across the street. The seawall was across the street and within walking distance. Several of the restaurants were close by but not within walking distance.

“Lone Star Bike Rally Trip”

Arriving at the desk the lady behind the counter checked us in very quickly, just gave her my name and DL and she gave us the room keys, it was extremely quick. We got into the room and the room was at a nice temperature. We walked out onto the balcony and you could see the ocean from the left side and the seawall was straight ahead so you can also see the Wal*Mart that was directly ahead. The room was in very good condition and very clean. The bathroom was very nice and had plenty of towels. The room we stayed in had a mini fridge a small kitchen sink, a desk, a large sofa, and flat screen tv with built in dvd player, the bed was extremely comfortable. Really liked the room, will stay again if traveling in the area.

“Nice and convenient”

One of the most comfortable beds with very easy parking. Only a little off the Seawall.

“Great value in Galveston”

This was the cheapest hotel (of this class) in Galveston - probably because it isn't right on the seawall. Otherwise, it was a perfect place to stay - just a block off the seawall, convenient to everywhere, and a clean, comfortable room. Unlike some other Hampton Inns, this one has plenty of room in the breakfast area.

“Best Value in the area w/o question!”

I was very pleasantly surprised by how nice the hotel was. The staff was outstanding, the rooms were excellent and the environment was exactly what we were looking for for that trip. I would stay there again and will do so upon my return to that area.

“Galveston July 2011”

The room was very clean, bathrooms clean, and breakfast was great! It was hot and not just waffles...they had eggs,bacon,sausage and hashbrowns. It was worth the extra to stay. It was across from Walmart but it was quiet and conveinent. I would highly recommend this hotel.

“Great Galveston Hotel!”

I was pleasantly surprised when we checked in...newer facility, clean rooms, white duvet covers, great continental breakfast and just a few yards from the seawall. Great location! would recommend to everyone!

“Clean and Comfortable. Great Room”

It was all great. Very clean and fresh hotel and room. It was a great Valentine's Day get-away. We will definately go back to this hotel.

“Clean, comfortable, convenient”

We recently stayed at this Hampton Inn while in town for a conference - the room was immaculate and the hotel was only 2 minutes from the convention center. It's also close to a supermarket and a Super Walmart and about a 5 minute walk to the beach. The mini fridge and microwave were a welcome addition to the room and added to the convenience of staying there. The breakfast area is large and the buffet was well-stocked and included cheese omelets, turkey sausage, and fresh fruit, as well as the normal pastries, cereal and waffle stand. The next night, we switched to the Holiday Inn Resort (company reservations) and boy, did we miss the Hampton. Even after undergoing a huge renovation, it couldn't live up to the the convenience and cleanliness of the Hampton - not to mention it didn't have covered parking like the Hampton. If the conference is in the same place next year, we've already said that we're staying at the Hampton for both nights!
