“Definite repeat”

Generous size room, nice breakfast area. Easy walking distance to the Strand, multiple restaurants, tall ship Elissa, etc. Stayed there for our 25th anniversary. Plan to stay there again.

“Great for a cruise”

We chose to stay at Harbor House the night before our cruise. The hotel was located very close to the pier and there was a really good seafood restaurant within walking distance. The room was beautiful and spacious. It was very comfortable and the continental breakfast was delicious. I would love to go back to this hotel next time we cruise from Galveston.

“Harbor House Getaway”

All was good and the maid service was very efficient. You can't beat the location near the Strand. Lots of easy walking and convenient parking. They do have a self serve mini-Continental Breakfast. We were sorry to pay fee a day for parking per day but we felt it was secure. It is best to look online for the best deal. The staff was friendly but it is a Wyndam managed property and you cannot reap Wyndam rewards. All in all worth the visit for sure. Thumbs up^

My experience at the Harbor House was very pleasant. Very nice and spacious rooms, very clean and well maintained, with nice views of the harbor. I would stay there again anytime.

“Lovely time”

We had a wonderful time. Perfect location for the Galveston Bike Rally. We were right in the middle of the action, and our hotel room was an oasis from the action. After a shower, change of clothes, and relaxing on the comfortable sofa, we were ready for more fun. Restaurants were excellent. We will definately stay at the Harbor House again.

“A Real Gem in Galveston”

A beautiful conversion of an older landmark building on the Gulf Coast of Galveston. Rooms were very large and comfortable. Set up nicely for a business traveler's needs. Large working desk, internet, refrigerator, and more. I would highly recommend to others, and stay there again myself.

“Great stay...we plan to go back!”

We enjoyed our family vacation by staying at the Horbour House. The room was very clean and comfortable. We had two queen sized beds which worked out great for our family of 4. The room was spacious enough for all of us. The room had an entertainment center that housed a TV (not a very big one), a small refrigerator (perfect for storing snacks and food for hungry kids) and a microwave. Strangely, you will not find the microwave plugged in! There is one outlet behind the entertainment center with only two plugs - one for the TV and one for the frig. We put the microwave on the table and plugged it into a nearby outlet. That worked out fine for us. The only other problem is having to pay a daily fee for parking. There is a gate and you will be given a code, but there is no one there to man the gate. I really don't see the point except that every place by the bay charges. It would seem to me that it should be free for hotel guests. I didn't appreciate having to pay, but everything else was great!

“Can't wait to go back”

Overall, my husband & I were extremely satisfied with our stay. The Harbor House is right on the pier, so the water can be seen from pretty much anywhere in the hotel. The rooms were very comfortable & equipped & also had a really personal touch. The Harbor House is within very reasonable walking distance from anywhere you would like to go in old town Strand. The Harbor House is also nearby really informative & interesting entertainment like the oil derrick that you can tour & "The Great Storm" theatre. The Harbor House is also close & within walking distance to many restaurants including our favorite, The Olympia Grill. The only negative to our stay was having to pay the extra $10 per day for parking at the hotel, but it was worth it.
