“Can't wait to go back!”

This hotel was the best! Stayed there for a mini vacation--a two night stay. It is conveniently (within walking distance)located to the beach (the seawall), great restaurants: Landry's, the Rain Forest Cafe, and IHOP. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel staff was warm and friendly--at our service. I would stay here again and would highly recommend it to others.

I went with a high school friend for a girls' weekend in Galveston. The hotel was so nice, the staff friendly, and the view amazing. We loved the comfy beds and cotton robes!

“Great Hotel”

We liked everything about this hotel. The furnishings were very nice. We had a partial view of the Gulf - as do all rooms. The staff was professional and courteous, they went out of their way to make everyone comfortable when the fog delayed our ship's arrival and departure. Being able to park in their lot for the week while on the cruise was a plus, as was the shuttle to and from the ship. Sunday brunch, while expensive, was very good. We would definitely recommend this hote.

“A very nice hotel in Galveston”

When we checked in they upgraded us to a larger room. It is right on the Seawall so you can see the ocean. There is a trolley stop that takes you all over downtown Strand area. Don't plan on using the pool in the fall or winter, it is not heated and it is outside. There is a restaurant onsite but is rather pricey, free coffee in the lobby. IHOP is a short 2 block walk. Internet is free in the lobby, otherwise it will cost you $10 a day for internet. It is a beautiful hotel and the rooms are very nicely done.
