Best hotel I have ever stayed in. The view was fantastic. And the front desk was off the chain, very friendly and courteous. Felt like home to me. Although I have no kids, i loved the way they catered to kids also. They had a arcade and a bar. No one was left out.

Because of the previous reviews I saw, I chose to stay here and was very pleased. Price was fine as well. We stayed on a Sunday & Monday. The only drawback was the seagulls were very loud and almost non-stop singing throughout the night. NOT THE HOTELS FAULT HOWEVER. Did not sleep well for the two nights I spent there because of that. The view was nice from the 3rd floor overlooking the pool & the Gulf. Would not want to be over the roof where the a/c units were. The entire staff was most friendly, especially maintenance and housekeeping people. Each one would always tell us hello. Thank you for a pleasant stay. And I will definitely stay there again.

“Can't Wait To Go Back”

Everything was perfect arrived Thanksgivings afternoon around 2pm and they let us check in early! The hotel was right across the street from the beach we did not have to use are car. Well be back.

“Holiday Inn - Beach Front Review”

We enjoyed our hotel stay at the Holiday Inn. It was a little pricey, but it is conveniently located on the seawall and near the Rainforest Cafe. The restaurant inside the hotel was reasonably priced and had decent food. Room service was defiantly reasonably priced. They had fun activities for the kiddos too. One thing that was odd, their pool wasn't heated. Overall it was a nice hotel. The family had a nice time staying there.

“McCLAIN 2011 BEST VACATION YET CANT WAIT TO GO BACK”

IT WAS IN A GREAT LOCATION. IT WAS CENTRALLY LOCATED . WE TRULY ENJOYED THE PLACE. WE WENT ALL ALONG THE SEAWALL DANCING, EATING AND SITE SEEING. THE DUCK TOUR WAS GREAT. BE SURE TO RIDE THE RIDEFILM IN THE PYRAMID (MOODY GRDENS AS WELL). our next vacation will be hard to beat. the staff at Holiday Inn were very professional and nice. The hotel ocean view was great we stayed on the fifth floor. The night club and resturant were great and affordable. If you are ever in Galveston I recommend you to stay there. You will have a blast.

Extremly Welcomed as We walked into the Hotel. Great location, within walking distance of great restuarants and beach. Very clean rooms with very helpful staff. can't wait to revisit and highly recommend this hotel.

“Better than expected”

I had not been to Galveston in about 10-12 years and didn't know what to expect, especially after Ike last year. My sister and I looked and looked on the internet and had a hard time deciding because of some of the reviews. The Holiday Inn on the Beach had good reviews and we went with them. The hotel desk clerks were very nice and professional. Received a welcome voicemail later the first day. Very convenient to all we wanted to see. Restaurant was very good. We will stay there again and have recommended to some friends.

“Will always stay here”

We stayed over spring break & has a wonder experiance. Hotel service was excelent. The manager was always checking on us @ the pool. He had someone bring us drinks becuase the bar wasn't open yet. Ive never seen a hotel manager work so hard and attend to his guest. A group of teenagers was hanging around the pool & he must have known they wernt guest. He called hotel security & he made them leave. We will always stay @ this hotel.
