“Holiday Inn - Beach Front Review”

We enjoyed our hotel stay at the Holiday Inn. It was a little pricey, but it is conveniently located on the seawall and near the Rainforest Cafe. The restaurant inside the hotel was reasonably priced and had decent food. Room service was defiantly reasonably priced. They had fun activities for the kiddos too. One thing that was odd, their pool wasn't heated. Overall it was a nice hotel. The family had a nice time staying there.

“Great Hotel!”

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay in April 2012. Room was clean and well maintained. Every room has a balcony with view of the beach which is nice, even though you have to look past the front parking lot. Front desk staff was pleasant and on the ball. The house restaurant and bar are both excellent. B. Jiggers (the house bar) has great happy hour specials, hot bartenders, good live music, and really gets popping at night. The Jetty (house restaurant) has good food and good service. We didn't spend much time at the pool, but it looked clean and thoroughly maintained... would be great for kids. Being able to just walk right across the street and not battle beach-side traffic/parking was great. A free shuttle runs all night that will take you to a few nearby restaurants. We'll be staying at this Holiday Inn next time we visit Galveston.

“Great hotel for cruisers.”

Appreciated that we could leave our car at hotel for a week at no charge while on a cruise. This is a definite plus. Have also stayed at this hotel once before for the same reason.

“Relaxing getaway!”

The staff were extremely friendly and very polite. Everything about this hotel was top notch, and the view on the balcony was fantastic! Whenever I needed something, like more coffee packets for the room I would call the front desk and they responded immediately - usually bringing more than I asked. The morning we were to leave, the front desk clerk asked how I was and I told him I was sad. When he asked why I told him that I didn't want to leave. We will definitely be back to this hotel. The location was pefect - so many restaurants handy, Kroger grocery store within walking distance and the beach right across the street.

“Can't Wait To Go Back”

Everything was perfect arrived Thanksgivings afternoon around 2pm and they let us check in early! The hotel was right across the street from the beach we did not have to use are car. Well be back.

The Hospitality in this hotel is top notch. Totally loved the friendliness of everyone on staff. This place really made us feel important to them. They even went the extra mile and sent ups a bottle of champagne and cheesecake as it was our honeymoon. Galveston is just beautiful.

Love B. Jiggers bar, although the wait staff was like didn't know what we ordered, so we thought maybe it was her first night.
