Ok deal for the price

Posted Nov 1, 2014
I have stayed at the Inn before but not in the back hotel area. It didn't seem as clean and nice as the front area--ok for the price. The free put put golf was cool for my children.

Fool me twice - shame on me!

Posted Oct 12, 2014
Pros: The mini golf course was a pleasant surprise.
As reported elsewhere, this hotel shows signs of aging. Our room had a toilet that would not flush completely because the water tank had some "jurys-rigged" milk-carton container contraption stuck in it to control the waterfowl. The bathtub was obviously old as there was no strainer in it, just bad rust stains. The staff was just so-so as they were not too anxious to solve any problems.

Nice hotel near Moody Gardens aquarium

Posted Sep 2, 2014
Pros: It was close to the aquarium!
Cons: The miniature golf area, pool!
Location: It is near everything, aquarium, palm beach waterpark, schlitterbaum water park.
I was going to take the children swimming but went to check it out first. The water was murky, you couldn't even see the bottom of the pool! So we played the miniature golf, children liked it but I didn't. The miniature golf area is in need of repairs! The free breakfast was not kept up, people were leaving and their trash was not being picked up from any staff members, so dirty tables! For the price we paid, on the holiday weekend it was disappointing. The rooms were clean! And it was nice to have a little refrigerator and microwave in the room.

Old and loud

Posted Sep 1, 2014
We stayed 2 nights and the first night we didn't sleep at all. The floors/ceilings were so thin And every sound was so loud. They moved us and second night was better. The breakfast was ridiculous. Area too small sitting and all food jammed up on two little counters. Was almost impossible to even get a fork.

Not worth it

Posted Aug 26, 2014 on Hotels.com
I wouldn't even call this place a Hotel. Its more like a motor inn. The beds were horribly uncomfortable. I asked for a King size bed but was given a 2 queen room but they werent queens they were Full size beds. The service was much to be desired. The house keeping only made the beds. The didn't replenish the towels, wash cloths, or soap and shampoo. They didn't clean up the room at all they only made the beds. The security was horrible. I saw a man beat up his wife after throwing her out of a car and when I told the front desk to call the police they acted like it was a normal occurrence and said, "ok I'll call someone" and then went right back to doing what they were doing and never called the police. The doors to our room and every room I saw wouldn't shut all the way unless you physically pulled it shut hard it would catch if you didn't shut it yourself. I didn't do this the first time and so the door was left unsecure for hours. My neighbor didn't realize it either and he left his unsecure over night. Our last day I found out I could of stayed at a 5 star hotel for less than the price I paid for this horrible hotel. If you want to trade security, cleanliness, service, and comfort for the location of being right next to the waterpark and moody gardens then this is the place for you.
