“Great seawall hotel for the price!”
This hotel was a great place for us to stay during July. Seawall hotel prices are expensive during the summer but this hotel was a great price. The bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on and the pillows were the most perfect pillow for side sleepers. I had the best sleep I've ever had. The fridge was big and microwave was nice. Bathroom was clean with granite counters. Plenty of hot water! Room had a musty smell but a little spray makes it better. I will definitely stay again next year!
“Knights Inn on Seawall Blvd.”
Over all it wasnt bad loved the location and the bed was great.... However it wasnt clean and I had to clean before we unpacked or took a shower or bruch our teeth. However we wanted a cheap hotel to beable to enjoy the activities in the area. Loved the location right next to The Spot and across the street from the beach. We had a great 1st time in Galveston.....
“Excellent ocean view”
We had a king size room with an ocean view. It was less than 50 yards from the water. Excellent view for the price.
“worst hotel in Galveston”
Promised a breakfast - nothing edible - they only offered cream cheese pastry that looked like it was older then me. There was construction going on which led to ots of noise. But the hote was right across the way from a gorgous beach and the bed was confortable even though there was no coffee pot in the room and they only offered coffee in the morning not good for a person that drinks coffee two or three pots a day. These was a bad time for us since it was the first vacation we had taken in 6 years.
“Eliz”
Awful hotel and stay. Dirty and so terrible that is was scary!
“A convenient place (and that is all)”
The hotel has an excellent location, a few yards from the Ocean. However, I did not like it very much. The room was not very clean: there were threads of hair in the bed sheet. The staff was just ok. I asked them to let me leave one day earlier, (I had to stay five days), but they would charge me anyway.
“Can do better.”
Not too bad, but not very good either. Will stay a little farther away from beach (one block) and get a MUCH better room for the same price next time.
“Spend a few extra dollars and go to one of many other quality hotels in the nearby area.”
This hotel was very low quality in general. The service was pretty bad and the man working the front desk was pretty disgusting and spent quite a bit of time gawking at my wife. The room was dirty and there were a few cockroaches that needed to be killed, never a good sign. The bathroom was fairly clean but the shower needed to be cleaned. It took a long time for the shower to get any hot water whatsoever and then it would change temperature at random, drastically change temperature. The bedding was not in good shape either, no bed bugs, but only the sheets seemed to have ever been cleaned. It was fairly comfortable though. To summarize you get what you pay for here, its cheap and not worth what you pay anyways. SPEND THE MONEY AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. You won't regret it like I did.
“will never ever go back again”
this hotel need to work on alot of things starting with cleaning first
“Don't Stay at Knights Inn Galveston”
The employees were rude, my door did not lock, the manager peeked into my window and I checked out a day early and went to another hotel. HORRIBLE!
