Really enjoyed our 4 night stay. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and nicely decorated. Will definitely stay there again. Plus, it was great to be able to bring our dog! No extra charge!

We stayed only one night in the off season but the location was convenient and the front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The room was a pleasant surprise because we were not expecting the mini-fridge.

Two great rooms for 4 exhausted adults. Beds were excellent. Very nice dinner next door at Denny's. Good atmosphere, great waitress - Peaches, and excellent food. Very quiet night. Manager set us up for storage of our cars for a week, assisted us getting to cruise ship and picking up our vehicles on return from the cruise. Excellent breakfast bar that morining before leaving including Belguim Waffles. Our second stay with this LaQuinta and we will be back. We had a fantastic cruise and stay at LaQuinta.

“overnight stay by the beach”

We went down to Galveston for an overnight stay by the beach to take our kids to see the coast. This hotel is in a great location and is a 5 min walk to great beach location. The hotel is nothing fancy so if you are looking for resort type stay this is not the one. Great for quick vacation in which you won"t be in the room a great deal. Driving distance to great restaurants and Denny's is right in front for great breakfast. Traffic or parking was never a problem.

“Great Vacation, Great hotel!”

Our room was more than we had even expected. It was very roomy, and the hotel staff was very accomodating. The complimentary breakfast was definitely a highlight of the hotel, and offered many good warm and cold options. We had a great time, and even discussed coming back again over the summer! The hotel is a small walk to the beautiful shores of the seawall and affords great access to many good places to eat. Word of warning: do not go to the Denny's next door! It was disgusting!! That was the only low point of our trip, avoid that and you will be great!!
